. Guys, she's reaching out for someone to help her. I asked my brother what would he do if someone asked him for info about Alpha Phi Alpha and would he give him the info. He said "f#@* NO! He better work his a%# off just like everyone else". I guess the best advice for you, M Sims20, is just to stick with it.

I'm going to assume you're new.

Stick around for a while and count how many times the NPHC forums get hit up with membership intake questions. Maybe then you'll understand the frustration they're feeling before sympathizing with her and offering her advice.

i was reading the begining of this thread and saw the argument about the brothel law. for clarification...
it does/did exist
where i go to school we used to have sorority houses but they were revoked in the 70's due to the brothel law
it has since been disbanded but we still dont have our houses
the fraternities never got their houses taken away

As always, please feel free to post the actual law you are referencing. I'm especially interested to see this one, because it would have had to have been passed in the 70s.

THere isn't a site wide intro thread. There's one in each GLO's forum and if people are going through rush/recruitment they usually create their own.

Make your own if you like, post in the Random Thread if you like.

But I don't even belong to a fraternity or sorority...I only came for general chat.

Lol yeah. I think the idea of an intro thread is a good idea though. It would probably get filled with sarcastic posts but...it's a good idea to begin with. OH! Or we should at least make a thread about decoding GC-speak. I'm still figuring out all of the acronyms!
