The Peyton mom thing-I seem to remember an episode where Peyton kept trying to run red lights, because her mom ran a red light and was 'killed'. Although....Now i think her dad just told her that, because during the finale, when Peyton goes to the cafe and tells 'Eli' "your not going away are you?" And Eli replies with "not this time". So maybe she had/was forced to leave? I am so upset that brooke had to leave!!! Did anyone else know that Chad and Sophia are really together??? That just makes it so much more interesting to me, because I think they can really play on actual emotions. I cant wait for the next season....grrrrr.

Oh, I also think it was keith, although I have missed the last episodes since the wedding, so I don't even know where Keith is!

Sophia Bush looks pretty in her dress. At least from what I can see of the dress. I'm quite jealous of her for snagging CMM...not like I ever had a chance though...lol...

The last week I think that I have seen the finale like 6 times. The WB has aired over and over again plus we have a channel that show the WB shows the following night...I am truly going to miss that once I move back home to St. Louis...

Strange theory...but maybe Jewles had something to do with starting the fire. I mean, Dan did ruin her life for a little bit there because she really did love Keith. But everyone else did have their motives so who really knows.

I was watching something on MTV about the House Of Wax movies, and you could get little glimpses of Sophia on it. I didnt know they were together, but I notcied a ring on his finger, and he made the comment he was looking forward to getting back and spending more time with Sophia. I think she is so adorable! They really make a cute couple, so I hope they end up together on the show. So when the new season starts, do you think it will start at the beginning of their 'summer' or the beginning of their 'senior year'?

I really think that it could go either way.

Summer: It could take place right after this last episode. Brooke could not go to Cali, and go right back to Lucas' room. There would have to be Dan's impending funeral, and the investigation of who did it. There would be the whole Haley & Nathan deal, maybe attempting to repair their relationship because although the annulment papers were signed - nothing was passed in to the courts. We could see Peyton's reactions to her mother being alive, and learn the story about that whole situation.

School: Everyone could be coming home. Brooke would come back to Tree Hill even more different than when she had left. Lucas and Peyton could have become closer, considering all the drama in their lives as of late and them really being the only ones left in their group considering Nathan doesnt want to be Lucas' brother anymore. It could show Deb & Nathan in life after Dan ( considering he died, which I hope he did because he's such an a-hole. but i really dont see how he could get out of that fire anyways. )

I have more ideas, but thats all I can think of right now...What do you guys think?

The first episode may be a "here's what happened over the summer" type of episode as you see the cast for the first time of the season. For instance, Lucas could see Brooke coming up and then we have a flash back to what happened after she left Lucas' house. Thinking back to the other OTH-like dramas, that seems to happen...Just an idea though...

That actually sounds pretty likely. they really like to do the flashbacks on this show. I really hope Dan is gone too, cause he was so terrible. Although that takes a huge story line out of it. Of course, I they show cant go on too much longer, because they are going to start the senior year, and I doubt they could go on to college

It is the One Tree Hill Premiere tonight!! I think it is funny that just a few months ago everyone was chatting up Chad and Sophia's Marriage and now they are getting divorced. That really sucks. Anyway...Thought I would bump up the thread so that people can post about the show tonight!

I'm wondering what kind of impact it could have on the show that Chad and Sophia are getting divorced (already

I know that Lucas and Brooke seemed on the brink of getting back together at the end of last season.... Wondering if they'll ditch that idea now.

Their breakup news has been around for quite some time now. A lot of the season was already underway and everything. They storyline for the year isn't gonna be thrown out the window b/c of them I'm sure... I think they'll bring Lucas back to Peyton eventually anyway.

So what did everyone think about the premiere??

I thought it was good that everyone was back in town. I'm sure about the whole storyline since it was back and forth, but hopefully next week will be good.

And what about the whole "note" that Dan had and then Lucas?? hmmmm

And Peyton is still getting on my nerves, but i think i don't like her b/c a sister of mine had to deal with Hilary Burton in real life in high school state SGA stuff and said she was a b*tch.

That is what I'm hoping for!

I kinda got the idea that something might have happened between Lucas and Peyton sometime during the summer. I remember her saying something to him about Brooke and "What are you going to tell her?". Would easily be just "what are you going to tell her" .... about wanting to be with her. But I kinda hope that something happened with them. I like Brooke's character, but I don't like her with Lucas.

And I still hope that Haley and Nathan get back together (even the whole "we're 17 lets get married" thing was kinda dumb).
