I crushed two of my vertebrae together at age 16.(L1 and L2)

I grew up on a sheep farm and showing livestock, I ave various trophies including a showman of Showman trophy that is over 3 feet tall.

I was named The Good Citizen of the Year by The Daughters of the American Revolution.

I will graduate next December after 3 /2 years of college, no 5 year plan here!

My longest relationship ever was 8 weeks, so I'm not really into committment or the suburbs with a white picket fence and 2.5 kids.

I drive a truck, a Ranger named BIG RED (Get it? LOL) On most days I hate BIG RED because she's only a 4 cylinder and has no room.

I work for the county health department as a sex ed teacher.

*I am positively obsessed with painting my nails, I paint them every single day
*I am diagnosed with obsessive compulsive disorder, I always have to wake up at a time that ends in 3, I can only wear Hanes white socks, my things are so painfully organized that it drives my roommates nuts, along with so many other things!
*I am also diagnosed with ADHD, my brother who is a year and half older than me is also diagnosed as OCD and he has ADD, our poor parents!!!

Here are my unique facts....

***I am left handed
***I am an only child, who married an only child
***I too can pick things up with my toes. Although I didn't realize this was unique until a couple of years after I got married.
***My left thumb is about a quarter to halfinches shorter than my right thumb.
***I am an only child, but have a brother. Actually half brother-I met him and found out that about him when I was 14, when he showed up at my dad's house.
***My great grandma is still alinve--so my boys have a great-great grandma.
***I met and started dating my husband when I was 17
***I have dreams that come true
***I can see the ghost of my great-great grandma when I spend the night at my grandma's house.
***i am obsessed with "reality" sex shows--ie: Real Sex--any sex documentary and I am hooked!!

This is such an interesting thread... here's mine:

- I can't smell anything because I had spinal meningitis at 8 months old and my sense of smell is so weak that I don't smell ANYTHING.

- I also can pick things up with my toes.

- Speaking of toes, I hate everyone else's feet except my own (they're cute!)

- I get more compliments on my hair color than on any other physical part of me.

- I've lived in 5 houses and 1 apartment within 5 miles of each other for 20 years (I'm 21).

- I've met over 20 celebrities including Mike Myers, James Woods, LL Cool J, Jodie Foster, Jenny McCarthy (She's SOOO NICE!), Ben Stein, Illeana Douglas, and Henry Winkler.

- I'm a HUGE fan of Harley Davidson's, but I don't like most of the riders!

- I don't like gambling unless it's betting on horse races.

- I keep two journals; one with a lock for the "important-no-one-else-can-ever-read" stuff, and one for the "important-but-it-won't-kill-me-if-you-read-it" stuff.

- I used to sleep with my arms crossed over my chest, as if I was dead (now I can sleep in almost any way).

- I've had 5 cars since I turned 16, but never wrecked any of them (fingers crossed that I don't wreck my Beetle).

- I won 2 school spelling bees in elementary school and went on to district where I lost dramatically.

- I feel like I have some sort of "connection" with Reese Witherspoon and Nicholas Cage when I watch their movies.

-- I am very proud of this... in 4th grade I competed in the National Elks Free Throw Contest. I beat all the girls in my age group of my school, my town, and my county. Then I competed against all the girls in my state, and I lost. The funny thing is I shot my free throws granny-style at that time. I got trophies and a plaque so I was very happy about that!

-- I used to model when I was younger--mostly print jobs. I'm on the cover of a parenting book among the pages of text books that I'll never see. But I stopped because my mom didn't like taking me out of school early to go into the city for auditions. I wish I had stuck with it though.

-- I took guitar lessons for a year when I was young. I quit because I wanted to watch TV instead of practice. I would love to take it up again.

-- One of my poems is published in a young poets' anthology. I would love to find the time to write more poetry and have them published someday.

-- When the soap "As the World Turns" came to my campus, I worked as a Production Assistant for the shoot. I met one of the hot actors and when I went to put my arm around him for a picture I elbowed him in the face by accident.

-- My favorite food is movie butter popcorn. I have actually gone to a movie theater and bough popcorn without seeing a movie, just because I was really craving the popcorn.

-- I collect small elephant statues for good luck. So far I have them from Hawaii, Acapulco, California, and I just got a set for Christmas. I also have elephant jewelry. My Little put elephants on my paddle too.

-- I don't really like candy-- only certain chocolates like Reeses Peanut Butter Cups and Hershey Bars. On Halloween I'd trade my sister all of my candy for her chocolate. And I can't eat semi-melted chocolate. I always freeze them before eating them.

I am related to the British Royal Family through marraige on my moms side. We are related to Wallis Simpson, get out your history books and look up the Duchess of Windsor from like 1929-1939. She was in the TIME issue about the Columbia.

John McCullough was the main anchor. Hal Douglas (I think) was co-anchor. Sports guys were Hank Stoddard, Lionel Aldridge (former Packer), Mike Hegan (I think -- former Brewer) and a guy who did Packers radio and pre-season TV -- I can't remember his name right now -- I think the last name was Irwin -- maybe Jim Irwin?.

This is such a long thread.. but here goes mine.. not sure if anyone else has any of these..

***I was a trial patient for Botulinnum Toxin (Botox) at the age of 2-4 and my results are in many medical books with pics.. I was born with strabismus (Botox was origanally created to treat this)

***bc of the strabismus my eyes work independently so i can not see 3D so i have no hand eye coordination what so ever and when I started to drive thats when we discovered this effect... I would think I was on the road but really wasnt (so now i wear contacts to correct this)

***Me, my brothers, my parents, all of my cousins (second as well.. a bunch of distant ones as well), all aunts and uncles except one all went to the same high school

***my family started two very now large companies way back (some TV manuf. and Mill

) and my grandmother invested part her money when she was younger in some other very big names now... she is a very wise business woman

Well... let's see:

My mother is Venezuelan by birth, but her father (my grandfather) was of Hindu extraction by way of Trinidad. My father is 2nd-generation FOB (fresh off the boat) from The Auld Sod (Ireland) -- my great-grandmother spoke with a distinct Irish brogue.

I learned to speak Spanish well before I spoke English. (And now I corrupt the English language with a mix of Texan and Noo Yawk-ese!

)

I have a natural flair for languages. While I don't speak Italian, French, Portuguese and other Romance languages , I can read and understand them well. I know enough German to read a train schedule and order a beer and enough Russian to start an international incident! (Well, not that badly... I can transliterate the Russian alphabet (as long as it ain't cursive!) and can make myself understood in German.)

I was the first one in my family to break tradition and enlist in the Air Force (my dad was a Marine, my younger brother and my grandfather were in the Navy.)

I was the first one in my family to join a GLO.

I continued my grandfather's tradition and became a Mason (he was a Mason in Venezuela).

--My ears are not symmetrycal - the flap at the top is open on one and closed on another.
--I was interviewed on CNN a few years ago when they featured a dance piece I was in at Grand Central Station.

I saved my younger brothers life when I was 10. He was 8.

I hate high bridges.....

Clowns freak me out....

I got in my first fight when I was 7 yrs old. The kid I was fighting was about 9 or 10. I beat the tar out of him. We were in a play pin at Chucky Cheese. He said something about my mom I didn't like. I also got my first spanking that same year, from a nun. Myself and two other classmates at my catholic school got busted looking at our first porn magazine during recess. We were in 2nd grade. I remember my dad thinking it was funny. My mom didn't share the same joy and told the nun spank me. I remember the paddle having a University of Florida sticker on it....I didn't look at porn again for a long time. The next time I did, I got busted again. I was in 5th grade. This time about 1/2 of the boys in my class were all looking at it during lunch break. A janitor came in the bathroom and busted all of us. We all got spanked that afternoon. After that I decided porn hurt me more than I cared for. Rather than taking another chance at looking at porn, I just waited until my girlfriends got breasts big enough to look at without their shirts on. Luckily for me I didn't have to wait that long. I started going steady the girl with the biggest breast in 5th grade. Some of you may remember my story about her, my friend whos now modeling out in Cali. I'm a premi.....I almost died when i was born. My lungs collapsed and I couldn't breath. My mom didn't get to hold me for the first 4 weeks of my life. She could only touch me through an incubator.

That is so sad! I would die if I couldn't touch my child for 4 weeks, if I ever had children!

Anywho, stuff about me...

My sister and I practically have the same name. I'm Adrian and she is Andria (same letters but we are not twins) the confusion is frustrating!!

I havent thrown up since I was nine (i am almost 21) and i am darn proud of it!!!

I didnt go on my first date until a month before my 19th birthday (guys scared me in high school) but since then I have been in three relationships. I guess I was making up for lost time

So I didnt have my first real kiss until I was 19

I have a strange fear of butterflies

I still have a night light...dont laugh (i know you are) i am just terrified of being alone in the dark.

In my junior year of high school, I was extremely quiet and shy until my teacher pissed me off and I yelled at her in front of my class

I got four traffic tickets in the first six months of last year.
In the last three years, I have gotten a ticket every february. I am about to go through my first ticket free february!!

During my soph. year in high school, i was playing softball. i got hit in the eye trying to catch a fast ball. i had to go to school for two days with half of my face swollen.
