Actually, they separated temporarily. They did get back together in the middle of the movie, after Nina and Darius broke up when she got back from NYC.

i know, it's one of my favorite movies. but, they never said WHY they separated.

I just read on another board that "Baby" from Cash Money Millionaires is the father of "Lil Wayne". Does anyone know this to be true?

no, i don't think that's true. i think they say it in the figurative sense because i remember some old lil' wayne songs where he talks about his father who died when he was really young. i think he said his father's name was "rabbit."

Yeah. Wayne's dad "Rabbit" was killed a while back. Wayne has been down with Cash Money since he was maybe 11 or 12, and Baby took on the father figure role to him. That's why Wayne has that love for him.

I saw "Love Jones" recently, and Savon and his wife separated b/c she spent too much money while he was trying to save money.
