I am definitely a MSU girl first (even though they didn't win the game vs. BC) but yesterday I was happy with Michigan winning and can't wait for the big game so I can cheer on OSU. I always root for the Big Ten in bowl games.

Michigan-Florida was fun game to watch. Henne had almost as many passing yards as FL had totaled offensively. Congrats on ending your bowl drought, UM.
bowl records so far
SEC 5-2
B10 3-4 (including the loss USC is about to hand ILL)
including this game, since 2000, Florida has faced a Big Ten team in a bowl game 6 times. the two wins came in `06 and `07.
OSU doesn't fair so well against SEC teams in bowl games though. i think it's something like 0-8 in those situations.

HAIL TO THE VICTORS!!!!
It was weird seeing Michigan run a spread offense and use trick plays, the era of "4 yards and a cloud of dust" is officially over in Ann Arbor.

The team with the best fight song won every game today, just an observation.

I may rot in hell, but that made me chuckle.

Nope I was at work all day; no time for GC. Plus work blocks out sites like GC. No sulking; no reason to. Having an 11-2 record and beating Michigan is a great season. Sure the better team won last night, I can say that. I'm not sulking because even though we lost, we had a great "rebuilding" season. Go Bucks!!! Oh and congrats to LSU.

I'm bummed, but then again, Illinois far surpassed expectations. I can't be too upset.

I thought your defense held its own, but turnovers and lack of a real passing game hurt.
That, and the fact that SC (Southern Cal) is pretty damned good and very well coached.
Congratulations on the season, though.

Undefeated no more.
Great win by Georgia. They sure did make Colt their tackling dummy.

Yep. Hawaii had as much business being in the Sugar as Illinois had in being in the Rose.
As a Big XII fan, I'm still a little ticked that Mizzou, with the better record got left out of the picture despite the fact that they had actually beaten Illinois.

No kidding. I thought the whole Mizzou thing was ridiculous. But hey, they won their bowl game.

The BCS rules state that only two teams from a conference may play in the BCS bowls (Fiesta, Orange, Rose, Sugar, BCS Title Game). As such, if Hawaii or Illinois didn't belong in their BCS game, which team from which two conferences not already represented - Atlantic Coast, Big East, Pacific Ten - would you have selected? Or do you feel the restriction to only two teams per conference should be lifted?

With the understanding that only up to two Big Twelve teams may play in a BCS bowl, would you have put Mizzou in the Orange instead of Kansas? Frankly, I found it odd that KU was selected over Mizzou.

I know you weren't asking me, but I'll answer anyway. YES.
