A celebrity's divorce private? Since when?

She would have spoken to make MORE money. If she went public with Will (supposedly) being gay, she could have sold her story to ET, Inside Edition, or any news show, not to mention make a fortune from a book deal.

Alicia Keys is ready to take on her first acting role. Alicia has signed on for the action-comedy, Smokin' Aces. The movie also stars Ben Affleck, and is due in theatres next year. Alicia is going to play an assassin. In October, she's going to release a new CD, MTV Unplugged. The taping of the show will air in mid September, and the first single will be the song, Unbreakable.


Halle Berry is set to star with Bruce Willis in the psychological thriller, Perfect Stranger. The movie starts filming at the beginning of the year.


A national day of prayer is being held on Sunday for Civil Rights Icon Coretta Scott King. The 78 year-old widow of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. suffered a stroke and a mild heart attack last week. Her speech is impaired, and she is suffering paralysis on her right side.


Usher's new movie has a new title. Dying for Dolly was supposed to be the title, but it has now been changed to The Mix. The movie is due out this fall.


Will Smith will be romancing Actress Thandie Newton (Beloved, Crash) in his new movie, The Pursuit of Happiness.


Actress Victoria Rowell, who plays Drucilla on the soap opera The Young and The Restless, won't be leaving the soap after all. Rowell has just signed a new deal to stay with the show. Her former Co-star Shemar Moore, who played Malcolm on the soap, is definitely not coming back. He'll be starring in the new CBS prime time show, Criminal Mind. The show debuts September 22nd, and he will play a special agent for the FBI.


The BET Comedy Awards are taking place on September 27th. Martin Lawrence will be getting the Comedy Icon Award, and Steve Harvey will be hosting.


Vivica A. Fox has a message for ex-love, Rapper 50 Cent. Keep on dissing me baby! Vivica says the more he raps and talks about her, the more men are interested in checking her out. The 41 year-old actress was hot and heavy with the rapper two years ago, and she says it was very disappointing the way he handled the breakup. She says, Hey 50! Keep writing and talking about me!


The World Music Awards will air September 13th on ABC. Destiny's Child, Mariah Carey, Diana Ross, Bon Jovi and Santana are scheduled to perform.


Lauryn Hill and John Legend will be helping each other on their next projects. John teamed up with Lauryn for her 1998 hit, Everything, and now they will do work on each others' albums. Lauryn's latest project, Khunami Phase, is due out later this year.

The actor's wife is finally out of the way, so now he and the singer can be together. How will this affect their careers? On another note, another singer who used to be in this group is having the last laugh. He's currently riding high with his hit reality show. When he talked about the other singer's ways, he was accused of being a hater. He was told to stop badmouthing him and that he was just jealous because the singer sang better than him. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! My, My, My!


The 10th Annual Lady of Soul Awards are talking place next month. The Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin will be getting The Lena Horne Award for Outstanding Career Achievement. Stevie Wonder will be on hand to give it to her, and they will be doing a duet together. Brian McKnight and Toni Braxton are hosting. Ciara, Amerie and John Legend are all scheduled to perform. I heard that Shemar was doing both Y&R and Criminal Minds, like Victoria did when she was on Dianosis (sp) Medicine. But if he leaves, I wouldn't be suprised if he did.

I could have told Nicole Richie that Justin and Cameron don't make a good couple. Back in the day, I was rooting for Justin and Brittany but now since Brittany's pregant for her dirty husband and is showing her "Kentwood roots" as my Lousiana friend calls it, I can see why it didn't last.

Exaclty. I cannot remember all of the details. But, I do recal her getting more than half. At the time Will Smith was not WILL Smith. She was PAID. So much so that I didn't think he would be able to recover form it. However, thank goodness for him, he is living LARGER.

I just don't know what to say about Nia. Since my Chrissy-poo, it's been all downhill. The mextrosexual-BGA Jr. life partner/baby daddy and NOW Fiddy!!!
