I wont post the IOs contact information but if anyone is interested please PM me and I can forward the email to you. They pretty much need a list by tomorrow, sorry I didnt post this sooner, I just got back from vacation!

In case some of you didn't see this (got an update today) to add to your packing list- for the Old Timer's night, the Alumnae Directors are trying to get everyone to wear something animal print (or add animal print scarf to their outfits for example)- apparently that's the theme for the fun night...

:::racticing "This is convention #1, number 1, number 1... this is convention #1, have you been to 2?"- I gotta count how many this brings me up to... yikes!

Also this:
Important Convention Information

Ritual Book Revision
All attendees who have a Ritual Book should bring it to Grand Convention. In addition to using it in the Initiation and Ritual Review Workshop on Saturday, attendees will turn in Section IV and pick up a replacement which has been updated. The collection and distribution will take place in the Registration Area and signatures of those participating will be collected.

Saturday Clothes
On Saturday afternoon, all attendees will learn basic self defense techniques in a T.A.K.E. Defense Training program provided by the Ali Kemp Educational Foundation. This immediately follows the Panhellenic Luncheon where we will be hosting Panhellenic guests. There will not be time to change clothes between lunch and the T.A.K.E. program so please plan to wear business casual pants/pant suits to the luncheon and afternoon session.

Bri, If you go to Target they have some cute "leopard print" ballet-style shoes you could wear (or check the clearance rack - I found a animal print "type" skirt that I'm going to wear, that I'd be willing to wear again

I am going to wear black and spice it up with big animal print bracelets and other jewelry. They do have some cute leopard and zebra print shoes at Target right now. They also have some scarves and other accessories!

I actually managed to find a dress today. It was funny though. I told my mom that I needed to find something with "animal print" on it. She was like "well we could go to the zoo and get something". I was like (huh), turns out my mom's defination of "animal print" was something (i.e. a t-shirt) with an animal on it. I had to explain to mom what "animal print" actually is. LOL.

What can I say, my mom isn't very fashion forward.

Ok...so I am totally at a loss for that night...what are you all wearing? It is a nice black dress evening or sundress? Animal print does not work into any of the sun dresses I have...I am too stressed about this trip!

I have not started packing yet and I have a wedding shower tomorrow, a bachelorette party tomorrow night, a birthday party on Sunday, getting a new bathtub on Monday, and my dog has to go to the groomer on Monday too....did I mention I leave Tueday morning?!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH!

ADPiAkron - Diamond 4-point night is the "formal" night - wear a REALLY nice dress

"Animal print night" I'm wearing a printed skirt with a solid color top - I basically have all my outfits picked out, I just need to finalize everything and then figure out SHOES!

Yeah I should actually finalize my outfits and pick out shoes. LOL. I tend to overpack anyways. I'm very finiky. If I pack the exact number of clothes I need, I know that I'll get there and I'll be "I'm so not in the mood to wear this". LOL.

Although I am excited to wear some of my heels. LOL. I love wearing heels, too bad they kill my feet .

My dress just has animal print all over it. My mom found it actually.

I found animal print sandals by Mossimo at Target on CLEARANCE! haha They have a black base with a small heel...and the thong style straps are leopard print. I think I am pretty much done...I have found everything I need! I just have to pack tonight so I can spend tomorrow thinking about the odds and ends I will have to pick up on my way home from work.

Well I just got home from one of my best friends from high school/ADPi sister's kids birthday party...they are too cute for words- they turned 2 and 4 years old!! Their bdays are really close so she has one party instead of two.

I am still recovering from the my cousins wedding shower we put on yesterday...and the Bachelorette Party from last night. Well off to pack...then to bed...then getting up at 6am so I can get a shower before the bathtub people come and install a new tub for me tomorrow...then I have to take my dog to the groomer before work (PRAY for me that she does not have a seizure- she has bad vet anxiety)!! Today and tomorrow are going to be lonnnnnng days!

See you all realllllllllly soon!

I think the Diamond Awards Banquet is the formal one? Or am I wrong? That is why I am confused as to what to wear to the Diamond 4-Point dinner. Hmmmm....
