I applied & am waiting to hear from the University of La Verne if I got accepted into their Masters program. *sigh* The classes start in June & end in March. It's intense but I work better under pressure b/c I'm a huge procrastinator if I'm not motivated & stressed.

I got my Masters degree last year. They offer a post-Masters certificate at my school for my field, but I am very busy with my full-time job right now.

And this Tuesday was my final German class. I took German at the community college, since they offered the class at night.

When I took the GRE, I quit in the middle of the test and still got a good score. Depending on what school you apply to and what field you are trying to go into, depends on what areas they care about.

For engineering, the analytical and math sections were of most importance to me. GA Tech (the school I did not go to) wanted a combined 1300 on those two sections alone.

It is just like the SAT except there's an analytical section. The analytical section is what I'd concentrate the most one learning and mastering.

After I completed grad school, I found out that I didn't even need to take the GRE! Go figure.... But, it's ok.

I took the GRE in 1997.

I got a 760 in Math, a 710 in Analytical, and a 610 in English.

Excellent! Congratulations! That must be a huge load off of your shoulders!

I'm at the other end of that tunnel right now, and I wish the trip could be faster!

Good luck!! It will go by faster than you know. Staying focused and seeing the light at the end of the tunnel is often the hard part about grad school. The degree requirements and other hurdles are technicalities.

Congrats Soror @ Gina!! I assume your graduation has already passed or is within the next week or so.

About the GRE: I took it in 1999 and didn't do much prep for it. I took the computer-based test which was good because I could see my score as soon as I finished. I see someone says they changed the format in 2002 but I don't know anyone who has taken it within the past 5 or so years. It would be interesting to see what they've done to it.

I haven't even gotten to the law school tunnel - I start at the end of August, early September.
