Boule Partys held for AKA

The Kappa party thrown for AKA (diamonds & pearls) was friggin $30.00 after 10pm it was free from 9-10. I personally thought it should be free for AKA's the whole night. (I understand they gotta make money too)

The Alpha party held in our honor, (held right next door @ Jillian's) was krunk! I heard people would go to the Kappa party, leave because it was boring and go next door to the Alpha party.

I don't know how the Omega party they threw for us was. I haven't heard anything

Is'nt that cute? Everyone was trying to mingle with those LOVELY ladies of pink & green.

"loved by the alphas, chased by k-a-psi, wanted by the sigmas, now the ques wanna try! They want some skee-wee, skee-wee, Skeeeee - Weeeee!"

Thought I attached a current to the old message! I was probably working between students, so there's no telling what you got. Sorry. . .

ETA: oh shame! I know I typed something else with it, but I was having problems with the spacing in your name, so it went haywire on me. I'll try again. . .

Well Sorors I hope you all enjoyed yourselves! I was sooooo OVERWHELMED by my first Boule! AKA is a SERIOUS matter! I am sorry I missed out on the meet n' greet but there is always NARC in NYC in '05 and Motor City in '06 to look forward too! I have to seriously debate being a Delegate again though..lol... But I did get some GREAT pics w/ Soror Linda, Eva and many others so I am tickled pink about that!

A/w I did enjoy lunch w/ Soror Lady 1908 though! I had great time w/ ya and I'll give you a call this week so I can send you a copy of the pic ASAP!

Boulé 2004 photos

It's taken me a minute, but here are a few pictures from this year's Boulé in Nashville.

Our beautiful and gracious Supreme Basileus, Soror Linda M. White. Sorors, remember "You're more than welcome!"?

After Sunday morning's (July 18) Ecumenical service. Second Soror from the left (Soror Davis) is the first Alpha Kappa Alpha female Bishop and will be working with Bishop McKenzie, who was an awesome and dynamic speaker. Next is our Supreme Basileus, and Bishop McKenzie.

Wow ... this gives me flashbacks! Thanks for sharing these with us. I really loved how the convention site was decorated. The Opryland folks really laid it out for us, with those pink and green bows all over the place.
