1. I went to a signing during the hype of some HBO movie and saw her chewing on her fingers while shaking hands and signing autographs. Anyone who touches a million different things and then puts her finger in her mouth to chew either the skin or the nail or both should wear gloves.

2. Watch LOVE AND BASKETBALL. She has the fingernails of my nine year old cousin who can't keep her fingers out of her mouth.

I saw the movie this weekend. All I gotta say is there was one heck of a make-up artist on the set to make Sanaa Lathan look like a cracked out hood rat (in one scene). Didn't know a woman that fine could be made to look that uhm...cosmetically challenged.

the rest of the movie was arright.

Thumbs up good movie

i, too, saw this movie and i really enjoyed it. i was on the edge of my seat trying to guess what the next move was going to be. i think they chose a perfect title for it.

funny part: when he's trying to get out of the hotel and runs into those other officers in the alley. (hopefully yall know what i'm talking about as i don't want to go into detail and spoil it for anyone.)

[hijack] That is hilarious that you noticed this!!! I HATE the way her fingertips are shaped. I used to work with a girl whose fingertips were shaped like that. Just weird. And I've never seen her in person like you have, just noticed it in movies. [/hijack]

I'm going to treat myself to this movie tomorrow night. It's been so long since I've taken myself out on a date. And I've not been to the movies by myself since The Wood. It's time.

HBO played Brown Sugar THE ENTIRE WEEKEND on almost all of its channels. You know I noticed her nails. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Thumbs up I enjoyed it!

Denzel look good as usual... it was especially nice to see Sanaa get (near) top billing in a movie with an Oscar winner and to portray a character with some dimension and depth ... in spite of her nails I think this role will push her career forward ... Eva Mendes (spelling?) was good also ... I can't remember the last movie I saw her in... was it Training Day?

I saw the movie and thought that it was really good. Denzel was really slick because I would not have been able to cover my tracks like that.

My only problem with the film was Sanaa's hair. That was the worst weave that I have ever seen. It was just horrrrrrible. It looked like a curly little creature was perched on top of her head. I expect better from her.

You're right, I wasn't too thrilled with her hair but I thought she did good. Denzel was slick as Crisco. I mean he was on top of everything even at the hotel, but even when they finally caught up with him he was still able play it cool. The movie gets two thumbs up!

Yeah, I have to say, this was a good one! Not predictable AT ALL! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Two pinkies up!
