Highs: I'm getting much needed rest, I get paid twice this week and I've watched every season of SATC up till number 6 this week.

Lows: Getting my wisdom teeth out yesterday. This is the first time I have been truly coherent!

Highs: Only 2 more months till school starts!! Yay!!! I've been out of school for almost 2 years and I am so excited to go back. I can't wait to start my program. I'm taking the Law Clerk program at Seneca College (local community college...well not really...same city but it's take me an hour and half on public transit to get to my campus). After working as a law clerk for a few years I hope to save up enough money to go to law school!!
What else...? I'm going to Cleveland next weekend to visit my aunt. Hopefully we can stop by a greek store and see if they have any Pi Phi merchandise.
Also, I started again on Weight Watchers. I hope that I can stick to it this time.

Lows: I'm bored at work.
Sticking to WW is tough when you're bored and all you want to do is snack.

Highs: I'm going out to eat with a close friend of mine on Friday. I'm also excited about this weekend because it's time for my family's annual pool party.

Lows: This makes up most of my day. I came back to my apartment this morning to find NO power. I can't stand Indy's power company. Supposedly they received my payment for last month like 3 wks after they were supposed to. Not my fault. I sent it early. Anyway, so I get a statement saying I haven't paid for last month and now owe over $100, but being as horrible as they are they had actually received my check but didn't show it on my statement. I had paid for last month.

Anyway, so I call the power company today, and they said that it wasn't due to funds and would send someone out. However, my apartment complex checked on it, and they said that my power meter had been yellow tagged, which usually means that they shut my line off themselves. Why??? Grr...Finally, IPL turned on my power 30 min ago.

I'm not happy at all about this. I think my fridge was off for too long, and I'm worried some of my food has gone bad. Thanks IPL.

(Sorry, just needed to vent there.)

I think today has just been one big LOW.

A few posts back I wrote about how the power company accidentally shut my power off. Well, they did it...again. I was gone this weekend for my family's annual pool party reunion. So I've been gone from last Friday until today.

After finally calling the company and complaining...again...I discover that all of the contents of my fridge have gone bad. Last time it happened the fridge was still cool, so nothing was spoiled. I'm not going to get specific, but it was gross. Not only have I lost $50+ of food, but I also had to clean it out all afternoon.

Not my idea of a fun summer day.

PS. I'm still waiting to hear back from the power co's claim department. I want something back for this! I guess they keep turning off the wrong meter. They wanted to turn off apartment A, not C, which is my apartment. I think these guys need to learn their alphabet again!!

Thanks Maggie.

Yes, I was VERY ticked off, but I've calmed down since the kitchen is almost done...after almost 2+ hours of scrubbing and toting out garbage bags! This misadventure is GREAT for the upper arms.

High (yes, I finally have one ) My kitchen is clean! I finally finished it at midnight tonight. Not bad for a days work!

Lows: LOL...yeah I have some more, but at least they're mildly funny. I'm trying to print some things, but my printer has become possessed! Papers are seriously shooting out of the darn thing!

OMG that happened to my printer last year! Remember when I bought that new HP all in one? I had to get it because my lexmark started shooting out paper at me and then when all the paper was gone the ink cartridges popped out too. Miranda (my roommate) told me that it committed suicide. I was really sad about that too. I'm just glad no one got hurt.

Highs: It's lovely weather outside, I stopped at UDF on the way to work and got a really yummy French Vanilla cappucino, I only work until 3:30 today and the first two packages of my online shopping bonanza are out for delivery according to the UPS site!

Lows: My parents are still fighting even though my dad left for Chicago for the day. That and I have time this afternoon to go to the gym but I can't exercise for another week b/c of my wisdom teeth.

Oh yeah I remember that! I bet it wasn't pretty, especially since you had the desk crammed near the wall. LOL.

I always walk in place when I can't go out to exercise. It's simple and you still get some exercise. I have a 3mi walk tape, but if I get bored I'll watch tv and walk. Surely you can walk, even with your teeth?
