yeah, the Steelers won, but Seattle is the better team, by far. Roethlisbergers TD run was a joke, you could see the ball clearly, and it did not cross the line, terrible call, even with replay. His head got over, not the ball. Sure, Stevens shouldn't have dropped three passes, didn't help much. The push off in the endzone and the "block" by Hasselbeck were maybe two of the worst calls ive seen in football besides this year's OU Texas Tech game. Finally, the hold against the Sehawks was insane. My dad wsa an offensive lineman for the Eagles and he even said it was horrible. He usually doesn't talk about officiating because he hates how the game has become so soft.

oh well, steelers won, seattle lost, shit happens. i think im just mad because I lost a couple hundred on the game.

My personal top three obvious reasons why Seattle lost:
1) Poor clock management. Both at the end of the first half, when they had momentum and opportunity to score, and in the second half, when they used up all of their timeouts, leaving them with nothing when they had the ball and the chance to score. They needed a chance to compose themselves and figure out how to get two scores.
2) Missed field goals. Yeah, they were both 50+ yards, but the kicker has made a number of 50+. It's indoors, no wind. No one got a hand on the ball. Both had more than enough air behind them (hell, they had enough air to be 60 yards!), but neither was on target.
3) Seattle's not being able to complete the big pass in bounds. Had some great plays and great passes, but slightly overthrown and the inability of the receiver to get his feet in bounds.

I'm sure there are many others, but these are my top three most obvious

About Seattle being the better team- better teams get the job done, period. Better teams don't lose by 11 points. Both teams played ugly, both QBs played like crap. But the Steelers handled it and won. Seattle couldn't and didn't handle it, and did not get the job done.

To make excuses, to call your team the "better" team even though they lost, smacks of poor sportsmanship and sour grapes.

People, it is just a game. Chill with the nasty posts and attacking people.

I saw that - it was a good one too. I was thinking the same thing when Belicheck ended the segment with the cliche "the team that plays best will win the game." It was one of those "Come on, you have to have something better than that to say!" moments.

Go ahead, no one's stopping you. Just be sure to qualify it.

Bottom line and I'm out: At least I sent an email of congratulations to the Seahawks for a good season. I try to be a good sport because, again, don't get involved in a competition that you can't afford to lose. Don't like the outcome? PM me your address and I'll send you some cheese.

I totally missed him saying that and now I'm all upset about that! That must have been hilarious.

You are right. Also throw in poor coaching by that disgrace fo a Trojan alum Mike Holmgreen.

Oh. And throw in the fact that Pittsburgh had you cheering for them. You are like a lucky charm.

The parade was awesome! I got a great picture of Hines Ward. I was about 5 feet from Bettis and the Lombardi trophy... tried to take pictures of that, but both shots someone jumped in front of me on
