but it turned out to be Rodney. Good for me. Bad for Pats fans.
GC1 thus far
me alot. K sig RC- not alot
Valkyrie was worried about her team, but she is kicking ass.
Next weeks matchup in GC1 is a clash of the Titans.
Me vs Tippie Chica. Will her team wake up? Lets hope not. Arguably the two best teams talent and superstar wise...
Sister Havana is still in first barely. But I will most likely take over the points!
GC2 notes. Looks like Shae is taking over 1st place. Another dominating win for her.
Bubblz is hanging by a thread against ZTAMich. I think ZTAMich will go through and win it. She has some good players playing 2nite.
In PIKE, I won my matchup but only because I played a drunk who started 5 people who had bye weeks.
Bubblz is losing to the 1st place guy.
|
I think ZTAMich will take me tonight.
Yeah, I wasn't looking forward to playing the only guy in the Pike league who was battin' a thousand.

I went 4-0 in my leagues this week but just barely. I beat polarpi by less than half a point in GC2! (thank you Trent Green for getting the garbage time TD and not going for 2, allowing Lawrence Tynes to kick that extra point!)
In another league, my opponent and I were tied at 86. I had no one going and she had Larry Johnson last night. I thought for sure I was done. But not only did he get less than 20 yards and no TDs...but he lost a fumble, which is -2 points...giving me the win.
Thank you to LaDainian Tomlinson, without whom I'd be sunk, and to the scheduling gods, who made it possible that I would not go against Shaun Alexander or Steve Smith this week.

In our cash league (also on yahoo - similar points to Bobby's, but passing yards go down and TDs are only 4 pts for QBs) I dropped 167 points on someone this week. That definitely makes up for my awful greekchat team.

Don't worry my friend, you get Steve Smith this weekend! And maybe, just maybe, Ashley Lelie and Jake Plummer have rekindled their glorious relationship.

Wow - I didn't think it'd be that close at all
Obviously this year is just practice for me - next year is when I'll make my move

I wanted to buy it. I had it a few years ago...
And, anyone ever wonder what NFL players do after a game? Well, in Nashville, quite a few go and do their shopping at Wild Oats for the week. Is it bad that when I saw Drew Bennett that first thing going through my mind was, "Hey, Drew. Could you just give me one touchdown for my fantasy team?"

dude. Denver only got 5 more points than Tampa.
You are losing by 50.
Not much Denver could have done... I'm sorry your team sucks. Don't worry I'll tell my players not to score 100 against you.
Sister havana, can you feel me breathing down your neck?
Next week is for first place homie.

I can beat that. A couple years ago, one of the Jaycee chapters in the region sponsored a charity basketball game between the Bears On Court and a team of local police. After the game the Bears players signed autographs. That year Marty Booker was one of the guys playing on the basketball team, it was right after his big breakout year for the Bears. He had also been on my fantasy team that year. When I got up to him I said "Oh, you were on my fantasy team this year and you helped me win the league championship, so thank you!" He laughed and said you're welcome. I am sure that was not the first time someone said something like that to him.

You're down 64.87 to 83.60.
You're doing better than I am, LOL.

in GC2.
lets put it this way.
If Stephen Davis scored 10 touchdowns and runs for 300 yards and finds a cure for cancer, PolarPi would still lose to ShaedyKD. (the sad part is that I am serious...however if he did find a cure for cancer, i think i would just let polarpi win because finding a cure for cancer should account for some kind of fantasy points)
