I really wanted Max to whup some BOO-TAY!!!! I don't think she should've brought the kids w/her. I too do not understand why Kenny lied and not tried to remedy the situation. That was not a "Kenny & Max" move.

Bird definately surprised me and when did Shaq come out w/a clothing line? Did anyone else notice the outfit she was wearing w/his name on it (Hell, how could ya not have)?

DAMON made me really mad the way he treated Christine after she told him she MIGHT BE preggers. Whether she was lying or not that was no way to treat her. I was totally surprised that she killed herself! How 'bout kill him, not yourself Boo. She was very insecure.

I was proud to see how Terry used her own therapy revelation on Damon. I really like those two.

Last night I had a lot on my mind so I was not nearly as expressive as usual.

The whole Chrissy/Damon thing will teach Damon a lot. For one, he hurt someone who he loved maybe not someone he was IN LOVE WITH but he did love Chrissy in a way. Ultimately his rejection of her, propelled her to death which is devastating and will have lingering affects. Did you all notice that Damon is always behind someone's near death or death @ the end of the seasons? Last season it was Max, Kenny and Bird but this season it is Chrissy. It is definitely too soon for him to pay his respects. He may NEVER be able to do so with her family but he will be able to learn from this and grow.

I am really pleased with the insight that Terri is gaining from her therapy and how she is using that to help herself and Damon. I really think Damon needs to be going to get help as well. Terri likes to feel needed and that is where part of her panic disorder comes from. She wants to be the STRONG one but every strong person has their moments of weakness and this is hers. I do not want her to take on Damon as her pet project because that will only hinder her own therapy progress.

BIRD IS CONFUSED and CURIOUS. There is nooooooo way, customer or no, friend or no, that you would touch my breast and live to tell about it. BUT DID YOU SEE HOW BIRD DANCED WITH HER I WAS -- not a good move.

As far as Kenny and Max, that will take a lot for the two of them to sit down and communicate with each other.

I don't even know where to begin.

Ok the episode last night was hot to death...it was like an STD and was burning the hell up.

I can't believe this Lila and Kenny thing. First off why in the hell did Kenny confess to sleeping with that tramp out of anger? Lila's azz knows she was wrong, that's why she put that chain on the door when Max showed up at her house. I was like Max break the chain, but then again don't get to crazy because you do have the kids with you. Kenny and Max need to work this out. Let's be real, what man or woman for that matter doesn't dream of having sex with someone even if it is a co-worker. The fact of the matter is....Kenny didn't act upon it and he told "simple azz" that he was not leaving his wife and kids for her.

Lem and Bird......I don't know what to say about that. Bird is crazy. Why is she tripping off the fact that Lem has slept with 2 women at once. Lem has a past, and honestly I think most men may have done that in their past, and if they haven't they damn well wanted to. She is getting way over her head by going out with this chick Cookie. Now ole girl Cookie already said that she thinks most hetero people want to experiment, now Bird I think is just proving her CORRECT. She is about to bite off much more that she can handle.

Damon and Terri....Excellent on both of their parts. Now when Christine told Damon that she was pregnant, I was even tripping off how cold and heartless he was towards her. But like someone said earlier, he told that tramp countless times that he wasn't in love with her...but his comment of to be gone by the time he got back from the gym was......deep. I was like DAYUM!!


The new summer episodes can't come fast enough.

Max was way out of line for going to Lila's house, especially taking the children. If you want to kick some booty, start at home with your man. She lost major points in my eyes with that. Kenny & Lila had a mutual attraction for 1 another. Kenny never should have called her back to help in the office, his reasoning was for more then he couldn't get qualified help. Vird's young behind offered MAX bad advice, but I blame that on her age. But when you get a little older, you should learn you don't handle your business in that way.
Damon deserves to have mad flashbacks of Christine. He lead her on, simple.
Bird is curious...............get it out of your system bird, and let Lem's past go, it was before you.

Summer is too far away! What am I going to do with no new SOUL FOOD for all these months???

I was glued to the tv last night y'all. GLUED! Where to begin...

I had a feeling that was what she was going to from the preview of him against the wall. She was way to desperate and insecure and trying too hard to hold on to a a man that really wasn't hers. That will burn your azz every time. Like someone else said, I wanted her out of the way but damn, did she have to die?

It was way too soon for him to go her families house. I understand that you are all grieving and you feel in pain and want to give comfort to them and be comforted but she killed herself in your house, the result of a horrible emotional reaction to her relationship with you. They are going to know that and can't help but blame you.

I was so impressed with Terri's progress. They have written her character so well over the last few episodes and have had her evolve in the most amazing way. She still has farther to go but I am still impressed. I wanted the shrink to say her to her that while she feels it is her job to be there for Max, Max may also feel that it is her job to be there for Terri.

I was so feeling Terri when she said to Damon that sometimes women get so caught up in how they feel about a man that they will do anything to be with him. Do anything for him and will stop trying to be loved for who they are but instead be loved for what they do. Who doesn't like having things done for them but a man letting you do things for him is not the same as him loving you. Woo-hoo! Been there, done that! And while he was not intentionally trying to take advantage of Chrissy, since Damon used her to fill a void and be his companionship knowing how she felt about him and that it wasn’t mutual it cost them both dearly in the end.

I was surprised at how cold they had him react when she said she might be PG though. My baby daddy is still FIONE as HELL!


And Max, Kenny and Lila...I knew the Bia Bia was going to trouble from the beginning. I can't believe Kenny let that lie hang out there like that. I just knew that he was going to tell her of course he did not do it. He was being sarcastic and exaggerating because he was mad. He needed to just fess up and take the hit for the actual truth and not let it continue to fester in Max's mind. It was going to be bad no matter what but he made it worse. Yes, he dreamed about her. I am sure he has dreamt about other women ,too. He needed to just admit that. Nothing happened. He needed to say that she hit on him and he said no. She left on her own. She is the one who is chasing not him. He needs to say that he loves Max and his family and would not jeopardize that for anyone everyday to Max until she can find a way to trust him again. He needs to suffer threw whatever until they an get back on track or else it will be OVER. (and I will be pissed about that. )

Bird, just straight OC. I guess she ahs some little fantasy of her own she is trying to explore. Not a good idea. The quickest way to mess up a relationship is to let other people get in it.

Yeah, I was not cool with the idea of Max going to Lila's, although I understand the feeling of wanting to beat her down. Even though logically he is the one you should be mad at, he is also the one you love. You don't have any feelings but negativce one's fo her so she is the one you want to beat down. And if you have any interest in keepng the relationship, you want her to know you know and that chit is over!

Taking the kids- very bad idea. Who wants to see Mommy go psycho?

Plus, if he is a cheater beating her ass down won't change that. Like Vivica said in Two Can Play That Game- If you want your man back always deal with a man. He's the one who did wrong and the one who needs to learn a lesson. Two women fighting over a man is just sad.

If you beat down every trife ho who will mess with a man in a relationship you won't have time for anything else!

Max was just as wrong for going to Lila's as Lila was for going to Max & Kenny's! That heffa came to Max 's house, w/Max's father-in-law, sat at Max's table and ate Max's food while trying to make MAX's husband jealous!

Now, I would've went to that heffa's house 2. Sans kids. Whooped her ass and Kenny's.

I can't believe so many intelligent, educated women feel that beating the other woman's behind is the answer. Com' on ladies, don't degrade yourself to street tactics. Fighting over a man has to be the lowest form of your own self-esteem IMHO.

Last nights episode was definately the best of the entire season.

Max and Kenny~~ Now that is a hot mess. I can feel where Max was coming from and would definately have confronted my husband. But, now Lila KNEW Kenny was married and tried something anyway. Yea, she deserves to get her AZZ BEAT!! I hated that Max took the children, but as a married woman with children also, I would have definately confronted her myself.

Damon and Chrissy~~ Now, I wanted her to go away, but I never thought she would have killed herself like that!! About two episodes ago or so, they showed them about to get booty and then they showed the condoms. I thought then that she would try and get pregnant to try and keep Damon. She knew that Damon only wanted sex and a friend, yet she still hung around. The whole situation will definately make Damon grow up if anything.

Terry~~ Now that is a strong sister. I really the fact that she decided to get help and she is finding it with this new doctor. Even thought his methods can seem a bit eccentric, he is definately gonna help her. I just hope she will not become too dependant on that medication. I also like how strong she is being for Damon's sake. You go girl!!

Bird and Lem~~ They were off the chain this season. Her and her "Bi" friend...CTFU!! I mean, I have gay and BI friends, but I will be damned if they touch my chitty and get away with it. She would have come out of my chair with a very bad weave messing with me!!

I can't wait until next season. June seems like a long way away!! I hope I can hold on until then!!!!!

Everyone let us remeber the very first time Max read the letter in Kenny's office she asked him then and he said "NO!" he did not sleep with her....I think Max in her own mind had it made up that he slept with Lila......So in order to satisfy what she wanted to believe he said yes later.....I do not agree with it but men do that, tell a woman what they want to hear even after they told them the truth because some women refuse to believe the thruth.

I am married with children. I am also an educated and intelligent woman. But if a situation like this happens, poise and grace can fly right out of the window. The fact is that Lila went too far to try and get with Kenny. Now, I know that women can try and get with your man, but if she steps over...I mean jumps over that line and takes it as far as she did...It is on!

You are so right! Men will tell their woman what she wants to hear/believe to avoid arguments if telling the truth doesn't work first. Some men do this (including my hubby).

This espisode was GOOD. I was wondering where the series was going a few weeks ago, but this made up for it. I was talking to my good friend at the same time, so I"m going to rewatch the show late Sunday night!

Bird's hair did indeed look HORRIBLE.

Sphinxpoet is so right. Even though he actually didn't sleep with Lila, he told her that to stop the argument. She believes in her head that he did, so she would never believe him when he says he didn't. And it really didn't help that Lila was acting all guilty like something "really did happen," by telling Max to go talk to Kenny.
