From what I remember, the "brouhaha" didn't have anything to do with JAM. Her leaving was a surprise, as I don't recall anything else that might have led up to it.

well, she didn't leave just b/c someone disagreed with what she said. i think she left b/c ppl were being rude to her when she prefaced her thread with something along the lines of "read this to read it, don't take it like i am 100% behind it" and then certain ppl took it upon themselves to be rude and disrespectful. she didn't feel like being disrespected by ppl half her age and who refused to understand what she was saying anyway, so....there ya go.

But she pretty much did leave because of opposing opinions. I've read the thread many times and other threads that she posted on and I don't find anything really rude in reply to her. Sure people had been rude in the past to her but she could be just as rude and snide right back, no matter if the people involved were half her age or not. She posted many things in which she seemed to have a closed mind on and it was almost as if she refused to understand what other peole would say if she didn't agree with it. That's ignorance.

Now I thought JAM was a great contributor to GC but she wasn't innocent either. Nobody really is because we all have our days.
