Highs: Work has been going really good.. been real busy.. makes it go by much faster. So much has been going on during the weekends.. three weekends ago I was in my big sis's wedding and it was nice to see everyone for the weekend. Two weekends I went down to VA beach with my friends for one of my best friends bridal shower. Then last weekend I went with my best friend to her boyfriends who had a big party all day for his graduation. I really didnt know anyone, but still had a good time.

Lows: My family is on vacation this week. Sucks that I couldnt take off from work. I am always too tired after work to clean up after cooking dinner. All I want to do is be lazy. Haha plus the house is a mess right now.. so I should clean. I have come to the conclusion that I will need a maid one day.. ecsp. when I have kids. I dont see how my mom did it.

Highs: I'm back home at my parent's place. Today has been pretty uneventful, but I'm having fun preparing for the Relay for Life. Plus, I get to play with my kittie who has to stay here. I'm baking cookies for tomorrow, which I love.

Lows: Um, I'm exhausted. We've been on the go all day. I'm on a break now, but in another 5 minutes my family is going to start working on luminary bags and signs. We start putting up the 1000 bags/signs tomorrow at 7:30. From there we'll set up our campsite, decorate, light the candles, go through the luminary ceremony (which I'm speaking in). At 1am is the adult moonwalk (fun!), and at 2-3am is my lap. Oh, and then Mom and I are walking her lap at 8am.

Needless to say, it'll be fun but VERY exhausting.

Oh, and my parent's house is a mess. I really love how I come home and end up taking out the trash, doing the dishes, and sweep. I do that enough at my own place. (But, I'm not complaining too hard. My parents did a ton for me when I was a kid. )

High: The dress that I'm wearing for my big sis's wedding came in today and it is BEAUTIFUL! and one of my friends that I've been not talking to for over a week(we were in a fight) and I called me and we went to the movies. Didn't really talk but I guess we're made up.

Low: Had to leave that movie early to pick up another friend at the airport. And both my roommates are gone so I'm stuck in a huge house with 3 dogs and 1 cat, I hate being alone in my house its so scary!

Highs: Well, I get an hour break before heading back to the Relay. Yeah for our tent for staying up! Oh, and I'm Pi Phi-ing it up tonight. I'm currently wearing my Pi Phi 2004 Bid Day fleece and my Pi Phi hat, and tomorrow morning I'm adding my Pi Phi scarf. Just showing the love.

Lows: My mom is super stressed right now and I feel bad for her. She's in charge of all of the luminary stuff. It was raining all the morning, and I'm worried the turnout will be dismal. I'm also getting a little anxious about reading for the luminary cerimony tonight. I really don't want to mess up, especially since I'm reading the names of some of my family members.

Anyway, back to the track! Have a good weekend all.

Highs: Visiting my future Ibook (and possibly turning that into my future powerbook); Going to see the new Stepford Wives in the theater; having a LaRosas Jojo's BLT Salad for dinner; hearing from someone at Central Office that they are going to change my status on the site from being lost; getting paid $4 more than what I had calculated!

Lows: Realizing that I have to work noon to 1AM on Sunday, have an 8AM dentist appointment on Monday followed by working 10AM to 8:30PM on Monday.

Highs: I had a great weekend visiting my boyfriend in DC!! We saw the Capitol and a bunch of other sights! I love DC so much.

Lows: This morning I managed to lock myself out of my room (I accidentally locked my room, and our landlord never gave us room keys!). I had a meeting with my research advisor, and my roommate was nice enough to loan me some clothes for it. So now I have to call a locksmith to let me into my room. Also, I got a harassing phone call this morning that made me cry. Boo.

Highs: I'm going backpacking tomorrow!
My parents bought me a car as an early graduation gift/because they are amazing (2004 Jeep Liberty, dark blue, leather interior, moonroof, 6-CD Changer) and they are picking it up today and my mom is breaking it in for me so next month when I get home it will be PERFECT

Lows: I have my third sinus infection since March. I get them all the time and I went to an ear nose and throat specialist last year who said if I kept getting them so much I would probably need surgery... i think three sinus infections in three months is excessive (On the plus side, in Australia they prescribe plain codeine for bad coughs like mine, so I am pretty HIGH on codeine right now... I have the giggles)

I have had to say goodbye to all the fabulous Americans I met on my study abroad program I get to see all the Australians once more though!

Have you ever been tested for allergies? I used to get sinus infections all the time, but it turns out I am allergic to mold/dust, which were causing the infections. My otolaryngoloist mentioned surgery for me if the allergy meds and shots didn't help, but luckily for me they have.
