Yes, it is - which is why I responded back in kind!!! I knew those Chi Omegas would NEVER allow their programming to be found wanting.

Nudity for art or beauty is one thing. Getting plastered and showing your boobs for beads isn't "pro-woman". I don't get it, though I don't have as much of a problem with it as some people...since I chalk it up to dumb drunk college kids...we all make mistakes...but it's still not "pro-woman".
Let's be honest. When most of us wear a low cut top who are we doing it for? It sounds good to say it's because we're confident and just being secure in our right to show our bodies in the fashion we choose or some crap like that, but it's really because Johnny Frat boy is really hot and all Johnny Frat boys like boobs. I'm all for honesty. It's ok...that's part of being a teenager or college student. Stupidity comes with the territory...I'm 21, I'm still stupid sometimes. And MOST teenage/college girls have done this at one time or another, Greek or not! But is that pro-woman?
Nope.

See, I always thought that knees were the ugliest part of a women's body. Who every says, "WOW! Her knees are hot!"

I think that all of you are making too big of a deal about this tattoo... I have one.. granted, mine is a quasi "tramp-stamp" that is easily coverable. I will admit, I was a little worried about it initially, then I found that several of my sisters had similar tattoo's. I'm sure you'll be fine. Actually one our newly initiated sisters has a tattoo on her foot, and it was never even considered.

Please read the thread beforehand. We're not discussing the effects of a tattoo at recruitment in Virginia, but at the University of Alabama. They're very different situations.

Really? I can't imagine a tattoo being looked upon kindly or just overlooked during Panhel Recruitment at UVa, W&M, W&L, Richmond. Maybe VT, but I would doubt it.

My niece got a tattoo on her foor in college(During the 80's and she swears she wasn't drunk) the greek letters Pi Beta Phi. She is now a mother of a 5 year old who the other day wrote on her toes to be like mom.
My husband is VP of HR for a big hospital company. His does hire people who have tattoos, just like Matthew Fox (Jack) on TV Lost. Young doctors have them especially. They have to be covered up if they are on arms and legs. That being said no one can work with Facial eyebrow, lip piercings, etc. Including doctors. Women can wear one set of earrings.

There are several girls in our chapter with tattoos on the top of their foot, and its not a problem, because either you shoe covers it up, or you put a small band aid there or some dermablend to cover it up

so, are you recommending that the pnm make every effort to cover her tattoo during recruitment?
