Speaking of yucky 80s stuff...I work at an advertising agency, working on an account that produces weekly flyers for a major chain of stores. I saw an outfit on a little girl that caused bad 80s flashbacks....the model was wearing a matching top and LEGGINGS (pink and white to the point that they looked like pajamas) and a JEAN SKIRT. I can't believe the outfit ended up in the flyer. What kind of parent would even buy that?!

I teach 9th and 10th grade and at least half the girls wear this on any given day. Its always some random fitted tee, a micro-mini jean skirt thats frayed to hell and back, either crazy patterend tights or leggings, and a pair of Converses. So strange!

I was looking at a girl's pictures on facebook, and several of her sisters wore this outfit, complete with mesh ripped shirts and bright green eyeshadow in a step show.

I don't know but if leggings, tight pants, torn mesh shirts, Crocs, and Lord knows what else is trendy now, then I proudly say that I am unfashionable.

Nevermind, Xylo, I am divorcing you & marrying KLPDaisy

Dani is the DEVIL I say - the DEVIL - she has me all into threads that I really shouldn't be reading, and is going to get me divorced from the Mr. due to my inability to just-say-no to my late night computer addiction! Thanks to THIS thread, I was late picking up my mother at the train station last night

As someone who's on her feet all day, I don't give two shits if people like the crocs I wear or not. If you've never worn them, you are missing out. Yes, they are hideously ugly. But, I don't know anyone who wears them for looks. I know I can wear them for twelve hours and my feet never hurt.

SmartBlondeGPhB, you can't count on techies for style now! I was in Nordstroms today (or was it Macys? BellSquare was crazy!), and they had a wall full of Crocs...and now, they have those little buttons/plastic thingies that you can put in the holes.

Were they gemstones? Kind of like treasure troll bellybuttons? Cuz that's what I saw somewhere, I forget where?
