I'm sure that's really what was supposed to happen.

SATX*APhi has it right, who wears big metallic nipple covers underneath their bustier?

You know, after Brittany and Madonna had their infamous kiss, I bet Justin and Janet cooked up this little stunt as a way to "one-up" them.

.....Kelly

Totally agreeing with you!!! And I thought it was a little odd that the two of them were performing together anyway. Considering after Spears/Timberlake breakup he "dates" or is seen with Jackson at several events and hotels. When it was over she was quoted in People, I think, as saying "I don't deal with little boys for too long". So whether its true that they "dated" it was still made a big deal about back in the day. So I find it all interesting.......I'm sure Cameron was really proud of Trousersnake

I was wondering why in the hell they even chose Janet to be the headlining half-time performer. I vaguely remember who she is. I figured her management really pushed for her to headline because she really needs to put her name back out there. After the boob incident, my theory was confirmed.

While I don't like what Britney and Madonna did(I wasn't disgusted, I just thought it was stupid) I don't think it was as ill timed as the Janet-Boob deal. I mean Britney and Madonna were on the MTV awards that are known to be a little dirty at times. (Remember Howard Stern showing his ass). But this is the SUPER BOWL on CBS. I don't care what those millionaire fags try to say. That was NOT an accident.

I agree though that Janet was a bad "surprise performer" That song is 4 years old. I think they needed to ahve artists performing that have some fresh material.

Janet did this to turn some heads because her career isn't what it used to be. Truthfully I haven't cared for her in a long time. I haven't bought a CD since the one that was titled "Janet" in like 6th grade.

the boob was definitely the most memorable part of the night - plus it was a hell of a game. brady deserved mvp (although vrabel could have made a case as well). boston was going nuts afterwards, people screaming and beeping horns down the street all night. kenmore square was completely packed, shoulder to shoulder.

!

It's just the latest in a long list of pathetic attempts for attention from people whose careers are somewhat in the shitter.

As someone who wants to go into PR, I'm usually all about those "were they or weren't they planned?" events that get people talking. I think they're ill planned, though, when it just happens to be the ex of the girl who got her first lesbo kiss on stage last year, with his ex who wears bondage type nipple rings under skin tight vinyl (WHO DOES THAT??!) and neither looks surprised....all four of whom have had mediocre success with their latest "musical" efforts.
**Not knocking Janet....I think she's the queen of pop....just saying that all four have had lackluster business performance lately**

Reminds me of the brace face beanpole in high school wearing Jordache acid washed jeans who trips and falls in senior hall b/c she's teetering on 4 inch tall Sketcher heels. She just wants you to like her- which is impossible because she's face planted , spread eagle, with her overstuffed E.B backpack nailing her to the ground.

I don't think it was a big deal with Janet and her boob. It wasn't a publicity stunt, it was Janet. She's been pushing the envelope for years but she's just so sweet looking people don't really notice it! Also, I've danced in many a concert. Even in college when the budget was low, our costumes were designed/sewn to NOT fall off, no matter what. And costumes for major productions like that are fitted precisely to the performer. There is no way that was a "costume malfunction".

On another note - favorite commercial:
The donkey who became a Budweiser Clydsedale! Loved his "extensions"!

Janet looked surprised to me in that videotape. I think that Justin knew what he was doing.

AXJules, lol, I think that girl you described was me or maybe one of my sisters.

I think that this is the first time that the football game was the most exciting part of the Superbowl. Usually, I prefer the half time show and the commercials more than the game.

Who wears a shiny pasty under their garment if they don't expect that it will be seen?

I don't think that it was a pasty. I think it was a nipple ring. Maybe I am defining 'pasty' wrong, but I think that it is supposed to cover the entire nipple like Lil Kim wore to some awards show.

She looks like she is pretending to be surprised, but it's B.S. If she were surprised, she would've covered her boob, at least I know I would've.
