I just SCREAMED in the library - good thing no one was in here!!!

I just got home from work and I am thrilled. Ya got me Farklempt ovah heah!
Sistermadly told it well...except she didn't tell y'all I was more nervous than a hooker in church!
I talked a mile a minute...the last time I talked that fast was saying the vows at our wedding...ya gotta see the video...I was like damn slow down!

I was also saying a silent mantra "Please don't let me F up!"

So we stopped by my place and then headed to Vancouver. She said she had something to email me and then asked if I had a printer...our printer is a POS. Then she said she will give it to me at her house.

So we stopped by the corner store in her 'hood and then headed to her place. I had no idea she was
Apparently her DH (aka Mistermadly) knew all about it.
She gives me these papers and is like "fill it out". Ok I start and was like "huh"?
Sistermadly says, "You don't seem excited". I am shaking like a leaf and wondering WTF?
It was like "Why should I be happy? It is not a bid--yet"

I am surprised she did not up and bitchslap me!

It was like HELLO!!!!!!!

Yes I have been told that I can be ditzy and it sure as hell came out!

I got a call from the President of the Alum Chapter! She says "You know why I am calling don't you?"
Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh...back to the catatonic state!

I am officially giving you a bid and welcoming you to Alpha Phi!
We talked for a while and girlfriend did NOT waste any time. She is ready to hit the ground running and has already called the head office

I have no patience but it was SO worth the wait. I can NOT thank you all enough for cheering for me on, letting me bitch and holding my hand through the process. You have no idea how much it means to me.

I gotta thank GC because if it had not been for this site, I would have not known about AI.

The biggest hug bows and props go to Sistermadly. Her friendship has been invaluable and she was willing to go to bat for me and believe in me when I had times I didn't believe in myself.

Now someone PUH-LEEZ tell this old woman what the hell is the Axl Rose dance???????????? I mean I know who Axl Rose is (Guns & Roses, right?) but what the heck is this dance named after him???
