The news is not good about Singer Barry White. Barry is in a coma. A month ago Barry suffered a stroke that damaged both sides of his brain. Doctors say the Singer will never be the same. The 58 year old singer is best known for the hits I’m Gonna love you just a little bit more, Can’t get enough of your love, Your Sweetness is my weakness, The first, my last, my everything, and I’ve got so much to give just to name a few. Barry’s family is not taking his illness well. According to published reports they are fighting over his will and he’s not even dead. Barry’s wife Glodean has taken over even though they have been seperated for ten years. Barry also has a young girlfriend. This woman is his former assistant and they have young child, then there’s the 7 other children. According to the law the wife is the one with all the say, which means the girlfriend may be left out in the cold even though she claims she is his common law wife. This matter may have to be settled in court.

A computer hacker is wrecking havoc in Oprah Winfrey’s life. The computer hack got into her checking account and stole a half million dollars. This computer hack also got Stedman for 150 thousand dollars. Oprah is worth about 900 million dollars and she normally keeps 12 million in her checking account. No one at Oprah’s bank authorized the transactions, which took place over a three month period. Sources say it had to be an inside job because the person had all of Oprah’s personal information.

What’s going on with Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown? Well someone has leaked Whitney’s new LP, Just Whitney, over the Internet. This CD was not supposed to be released until Nov. 26th. Who leaked the LP? This is going to hurt record sales because now thousands of people have access to it without paying for it. Sources say the leak came from a disgruntled worker at Whitney’s label Arista Records. Some of the tracks released include a duet she does with Carlos Santana called ‘Tell Me No’. Other tracks released are ‘My Love’ a song she does with Bobby and a song called ‘One of those days’. Bobby made headlines last week, while at a concert in Atlanta he decided to surprise Singer Teena Marie and join her in singing Fire and Desire. Rick couldn’t be there so Bobby decided he would go up and sing. Did he sound good? I heard he was a mess.

What’s going on with The Rev. Jesse Jackson and Comedian Steve Harvey? Are the two feuding? Steve says they aren’t but according to published reports the two almost got into a fight at a party. Jesse is upset over the movie Barbershop. Jesse feels the movie not only slighted him but the Dr. Martin Luther King and Rosa Parks. Steve reportedly told Jesse to lighten up about the movie and that’s when the poop hit the fan. Sources say Steve called Jesse a punk &^#% preacher and a hypocrite. Jesse reportedly called Steve a pimp because Steve was dressed in blue and green alligator shoes with a matching suit. This was in addition to all the N-words and MF words flying around. Is Steve taking the high road by denying all of this or did the two almost come to blows?

En Vogue is coming out with a holiday LP. En Vogue the gift of Christmas will feature the new look En Vogue. En Vogue is now a trio with Cindy Herron, Terry Ellis and Newcomer Amanda Coles.

Randy Jackson of the Jacksons is going through financial problems, but you would never know it by the way he’s been acting. Randy has been hanging out at strip clubs and dropping 360 dollars a pop on strippers getting lap dances. The strippers are starting to talk about Randy and how they feel his excitement when they are dancing on him

Anita Baker is hitting the road. Yes after a 7-year hiatus Anita is performing again.

WILLIAMS PARENTS DIVORCE: Oracene and Richard Williams split.

(Oct. 30, 2002) *On Tuesday, the Palm Beach, Florida Circuit Court finished divorce proceedings between Mrs. Oracene Williams and Richard Williams, mother and father of famed tennis champions Venus and Serena Williams. The suit was filed as a "no fault" proceeding.

Says Mrs. Williams in a statement: "Richard and I have been separated for a while now, and I was very honest with our children that a reconciliation would not happen. They've accepted our divorce and love us, as we both love them. Richard and I will continue to work together for the good of our girls, and I truly wish him well."

Mrs. Williams, who will begin using her maiden name, Oracene Price, is Founder and CEO of the OWL Foundation, an organization based in Palm Beach and is dedicated to maximizing educational opportunities for youth who have been evaluated as slow learners and who require special attention.

The Lakers' dynamic duo is producing a miniature version. (Shaquille) O'Neal confirmed that, like Kobe Bryant, he, too, is expecting a child.

O'Neal and girlfriend Shaunie Nelson are expecting a boy in May. The child is their third together and fifth for the O'Neal-Nelson household.

Bryant earlier announced he and wife Vanessa were expecting their first child, a girl, in February.

(I would think that if you have five kids, it's time to get married. But that's just my old-fashioned values.)

NEW YORK (AP) -- How does Jennifer Lopez feel about kids?

The actress and singer says she may not want a bunch of them, but would be happy with at least one child. Lopez, currently linked with Ben Affleck, says she would want him to be her baby's father, if it comes to that.

J.Lo made the remarks in an interview on MTV -- where she was showing off a huge pink diamond that Affleck gave her. Lopez and Affleck are currently filming the movie Jersey Girl together.

Lopez, star of such films as The Wedding Planner, Angel Eyes and Enough plays a hotel chambermaid romanced by a political heir in her new movie Maid in Manhattan. The film, also starring Ralph Fiennes, is set for release in December. J.Lo's new album, This Is Me...Then is also coming out in November.

I’ve got good news about singer Barry White. The maestro of love is headed home from the hospital. Seven weeks ago Barry suffered from a stroke. He has high blood pressure and he went into a coma. Doctors were worried about Barry because he has a lot of health problems. Barry is still undergoing dialysis and he still needs a kidney transplant. Barry’s children are now being tested to see if they can give their dad a kidney. If you would like to send your wishes to Barry you can do so at the following email address. Authorities in New York are investigating the shooting death of Rap Pioneer Jam Master Jay. Jam Master Jays real name was Jason Mizell, he was 37 years old and he leaves to mourn a wife and three kids. Jam Master Jay had just finished a tour with Aerosmith and Kid Rock. According to authorities Jam Master Jay was working with a new female group at a recording studio in Queens, when two men were let in and one of them shot Jam Master Jay in the head. He died at the scene.

So What’s up with Whitney Houston this week? Well her new Album Just Whitney is already on the internet. Someone leaked the album which isn’t due to hit stores until Nov. 26th. Some of the cuts leaked out include a song she does with Santana and a duet she does with her husband Bobby Brown. I hear the folks at Arista were not upset about the leak because they were not crazy about the lp which I hear is just average. Meanwhile, in other Whitney news, she and Bobby have been listed as suspects for making death threats against one of her father’s business associates. According to a police report Whitney and Bobby threatened this man’s life. Whitney’s dad, John Houston, is suing his daughter for non payment of management services and the police think the death threats may be linked to this.

Fire officials in Detroit are investigating a mysterious fire that destroyed a mansion owned by Aretha Franklin. Aretha did not live in this 800 thousand dollar mansion but she used it to store boxes and furniture. The mansion was destroyed when the walls and floors collapsed. Aretha was in Texas at the time of the fire.

Lionel Richie is having a hard time with his oldest daughter. Nicole Richie could be facing criminal charges in New York following a fight that left a guy with a cut face. According to reports Nicole got into a fight with a rich guy. Nicole cut his face with a cocktail glass. She jabbed the glass in his face. His vision is blurred and he had to get stitches. There’s still no word on what caused the fight but friends say Lionel can’t control his daughter. She’s out of control with her partying and drinking. Nicole is Lionel’s oldest daughter. Nicole was adopted by Lionel and his first wife Brenda Richie. Remember Brenda? She’s the one who opened a can of whip ass on Lionel when she caught him cheating on her. Brenda also beat up his girlfriend. This same woman ended up marrying Lionel Richie. The big question now is can Lionel keep his daughter out of jail.

The National Association of Cosmetologist have filed a 60 million dollar lawsuit against the Rev. Jesse Jackson and The Rev Al Sharpton. The lawsuit stems from their demands from MGM to edit out scenes they didn’t like and found offensive. Jesse and Al threatened the studio with a boycott for scenes deriding Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks and Jesse Jackson. The NAC represents over 50 thousand barbers and beauticians and they say the threat and other remarks created a negative sentiment about the profession resulting in the loss of business. The movie Barbershop has grossed 71 million dollars at the box office.

R Kelly is back to making explicit music. R Kelly’s new song is called Ignition and one of the more interesting lines include ‘I want to stick my key in your ignition’. What happened to Heaven I Need A Hug. R Kelly is due back in court on Nov. 21st . He’s facing 21 counts of child pornography, stemming from a video allegedly showing him having sex with a 14 year old girl.

Rapper/Singer Missy Elliott is losing weight and she looks great. Missy says she had to lose weight because she was in danger with her high blood pressure. Missy says she is now working out. Her new lp, Under Construction, comes out on the 12th and it features the hit single Work It.

I hear June Pointer of the Pointers Sisters is back in rehab. June has not been able to overcome her drug addiction. June was supposed to participate in a music special for ABC with her sisters Ruth and Anita, but she couldn’t make it so her niece had to take her place.

Toni Braxton lashes out in the new issue of Vibe Magazine. Toni accuses rapper Jay z and his fiance Beyonce of stealing one of her song ideas. She says they are taking food out of her baby’s mouth and she criticizes Jennifer Lopez. Toni says Jennifer is a good actress but she is new to the singing world. Toni says she can judge because she has six Grammy awards under her belt. Toni is due to give birth to her second child next spring. Her new song ‘Hit The Freeway’ is slowly climbing up the charts. Is Toni lashing out because no one is feeling her new song? Toni has joined the long list of singers who feel they must have a rapper on their songs. The only real singer who can pull this off is Faith Evans. Most female artists do this to cover up the fact that they can’t sing.

So what’s up with Jennifer Lopez this week? Well J-Lo has been caught on camera. While filming a music video, J-Lo was caught acting naughty. The music video was filmed in a restaurant, J-Lo was on one side and a bridal shower party was on the other side. Members of the bridal shower party were filming the shower and they caught J-Lo shoving her hands down her boyfriend’s pants. The boyfriend of course is Actor Ben Affleck. While she was shoving her hands down his pants she gave him a big squeeze and he broke out in a big grin. Meanwhile J-Lo’s clothing line is expanding. J-Lo’s clothing line will now include plus sizes.

Supermodel Tyra Banks will serve as a judge and as an executive producer for a new reality series on UPN, Looking for Supermodels.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are ready to say "I do." No wedding date has been set, but it's official: Jen and Ben are engaged! Access Hollywood can confirm that the 25-carat rock J. Lo was sporting in October on the set of her music video is indeed the engagement ring.

The couple met on the set of the movie Gigli last year while the 32-year-old star was still married to dancer Cris Judd. Their divorce won't be final until January. Jen and Ben started dating in June 2002 and in September they caused quite a commotion on the set of their film Jersey Girl, with onlookers in a frenzy over the couple's public displays of affection.

Has anyone else seen Jenny from the Block? I have and it is terrible! The whole point of the song is to say that she's changed but that's NOT what the video is about. All you see is her and Ben, not cute!
