LSU? Not University of Louisiana!
The area is still trying to recover from all of the floods and my heart goes out to all of those who have lost their homes. I know many active members and PNMs were affected.
The Phi Mu chapter there is wonderful! Congratulations to your niece!

My daughter went to LSU, my niece pledged phi mu at ULL, University of Louisiana Lafayette. they have undergone so many name changes since I moved here, I can't keep up!!! Both chapters are great. My daughter loved her time at LSU and is still best friends with several of her pledge sisters. I hope my niece has the same experience at ULL.

Phi Sigma Sigma
My friend's daughter, a Tri-Delt legacy (with no Tri-Delt on campus any more) is a new sister at Phi Sigma Sigma at Penn State.

I came back because my cousin's daughter is going through recruitment at Kent State this fall. Events begin this weekend. I'm not sure if I'll get enough info out of her to do a recruitment story, but I'll share with you all where she ends up. It'll be good to add another Greek to the family.

I'm happy to announce that my cousin's daughter received a bid from Chi Omega at Kent State! They were not her first choice, and she is still ecstatic! She said they were the most genuine group of ladies throughout recruitment and she could not be happier.

I hope you'll pop in from time to time! It should be of no surprise that it is taking 3 of us to maintain your list that you did so seemingly easily.

While I didn't do a rec for her (she insisted that UofMichigan didn't need them, and there's no ADPi chapter there anyhow), my sil's granddaughter is rushing there this week.
FWIW, SIL is 12 years older than I, and her granddaughter is actually her step-granddaughter, as my BIL is 8 years older than my SIL. Got that? I married into a family bush, not a family tree!

ADPi has an active chapter at Michigan...my freshman roommate joined ADPi as an in-house legacy (she was a double legacy...their mom was also an ADPi).

...And the question has been answered! SIL's granddaughter has gone Gamma Phi Beta!
ETA: She did go to Michigan State, not the University of Michigan.

Woo hoo! BTW, my freshman roommate's 4 aunts were all Gamma Phi Betas, a couple of whom I knew because we were hometown friends who roomed together. I really tried to get her to go Gamma Phi, too, but with her mom and in-house sister being ADPis, it was a lost cause.
