For a few years I have occasionally worn a specific university's 'Be Unique Go Greek' t-shirt that lists all their NPC/NIC/IFC groups. Bought it for a dollar at a garage sale, but it's still in nice condition. Figure it's similar to a parent wearing their 'Tri Delta Dad' or 'Sigma Pi Mom' shirt.

My DD asked me if I wanted her to order me some "hype gear?" I was a bit confused until I realized she was asking if I wanted some lettered merch. that she orders through her chapter. I politely passed.

I'm at that weird stage in life--too old to wear letters, but not old enough to wear scarves with my "fancy" pearl and diamond badge used as a pin.

Wearing t-shirts out and about really isn't a thing, so I can't even wear my Theta mom shirts and I don't wear ball caps. Alas, I really only get to "rep" my group when I wear my badge at the Founders Day luncheon.

Is anyone one else brave enough to just flaunt their letters as a 40 something year old?

I wear some sorority jewelry items on occasion. I also have a few t-shirts from when I was a chapter advisor that I wear. But I def only wear stitched letters to special events, like alumnae assoc functions.

I don't on clothing but do have a few pieces of jewelry that I wear for sorority events. I do still have a couple of sweatshirts and t-shirts from college that I could wear but they are nearly 40 years old and too short.

Yes! I actually just bought some new cute KD stuff! As I stated in my wearing letters thread, it wasn’t a ‘thing’ 20 years ago at UCLA but with teleworking and wanting to wear some cute casual wear, I thought why not?! I am a young 40 something and KD is for life!!! So around the house and exercising my attire is mostly UCLA or KD.

Wasn’t big on wearing letters as an undergrad, so no. However, I say wear whatever makes your happy, if you like it, I love it.

Thanks so much!
Try going on etsy.com; there are many people who will make you a quilt if you send them the shirts. You might even be able to find one in your area to avoid shipping all that material both ways!
