I don't know if this has been said but a phrase used a LOT by some people I follow on twitter (and will probably stop because its driving me insane) is "Sorry I'm not sorry".

"More better." That is NEVER okay. Not even as a joke. I've only heard it used as a joke one time when it was actually funny and it was about 15 years ago.

Also, things that have proper names but are given totally improper names instead. See "wife beater" and "pimp hand."

I HATE "needless to say". If something is needless to say, then don't say it.

This is more of a cyber thing, but I hate it when I make a comment about something that's based on my opinion, and then someone goes "you do know.......right?" -and on top of that, they already know the answer to their own stupid question.

You do know that if this ^^ and other snarky commentary were prohibited, GC would be empty of traffic in like, 5 minutes. You do know this...right?

^^"Backhand."

And there's a big difference between "mo' betta" in slang and "More better" in an educational setting!

I really, really cannot stand the word "impactful." Its not even a word, it sounds like some BS coined in a corporate motivational seminar.

I also don't understand people who say "rage" instead of "party" but that doesn't bother me so much. I'd just like to know how that came about.

I've never heard of "rage" being used in place of "party" (except in the case of drugs). That doesn't even make sense to me.

A "rager" is used to describe a very intense, loud, busy party a la Animal House.

You "Hey, I hear you are having a party tonight?"
Me "It's not going to be a rager, just a few of us having some drinks"

I've always hated the word supper.
