Jason won't be sleepless in Seattle much longer - he's now our most elligible bachelor! I'm taken, but I'll keep an eye out for him at the supermarket, park, beach, etc.

I'm so pissed - she is dumb. Too quote a sister who I have been furiously texting for the past two hours "Their kids are going to look like d-bags".

Thinking back 100 years ago, can you believe that she gave Jesse the first impression rose? I can't believe that she picked Jesse...she is on drugs.

During the Final Rose show, she said some things that made me think she's really just as flighty as Jesse. She told Jason that, with him, she had everything all planned out and she never plans anything.. it's not "her". So, maybe she is best off with Mr. Pro Snowboarder who doesn't need to plan for his next career as long as he has the perfect woman for him.

What do you think the chances are Jason would be a Bachelor in the future? I don't know that I can see him doing it because of his son, but there have to be legions of women who would watch.
Of course, the whole jilted by someone who was previously jilted storyline could get old.

I think he'd make a FANTASTIC bachelor, BUT I doubt he'd accept b/c of his son.

Anybody else find it interesting how absolutely pissed she got when Jason mentioned that he wished she had looked at him like she looked at Jesse and GRAHAM? HAHAHAHA!! Her face turned beet red!!
I think she had the hots for Graham the entire time, and settled for Jesse. After she turned down Jason, I said to my son (who couldn't believe I was watching this show ) that he dodged a major bullet!!
She must be a complete nutjob!

Why not? He was attention-hoggy enough to go on the dumb show. Why would having a son prevent him from going on another dumb show?

I think she is an idiot. I liked her, literally, until last night. She spent all season saying she wants to settle down and have kids, etc etc etc.....and she picks the guy who might want to be a sports agent when he grows up? I'm not saying she needed to pick Jason (if she wasn't feeling it) but I think her choice just confirms that she's extremely immature and not as ready for marriage and children as she said she was. Plus, what a biatch for taking Jason away from his son for longer than was necessary. I think it's pretty obvious now that she knew who she was going to choose far before the day of the final rose (even though of course she said she didn't). So instead of keeping Jeremy to "not lead him on" she keeps Jason, the guy who's son is waiting for him at home. I think Jesse will bail on her before their wedding and like someone said....they are going to have "interesting" looking children! haha

That kid will come out shnoz first.
Last night was the first time I saw this season, and even I knew she was an idiot for picking Scruffy.
Jesse's ring was heinous, IMO. You would think that with the show supplying the ring for you, you'd choose something a little nicer.

I loved the ring Jesse chose. I didn't like the one Jason selected.
I liked Jesse and Jason all along. If you go way back in this thread you'll see that. I liked that Jesse did and said what he wanted; there was no doubt to me that he was genuine the whole way through. Jesse could make a whole career out of snowboarding if he wants to, between being a pro now, running his non-profit later, and he could open a snowboarding school for quite a big profit I'm sure if he wanted to. There's nothing wrong with that. But DeAnna better not expect him to totally change because of her, and the problem is that I get the feeling she's expecting him to leave snowboarding behind, cut his hair (per her dad's requirement), and take a job doing God knows what down in Georgia. She picked him because he's unpredictable and exciting; I'm no psychologist, but my guess is that because of her dramatic childhood (her mom dying when she was young), she's seeking drama. What's sad is that if Jesse does "conform" the way I think she'll eventually want him to, and the way her dad will want him to, he'll be unhappy and she'll be bored.
Jason seemed caring, stable and family-oriented, but maybe that made him boring. DeAnna's comment about her life being planned out if she chose Jason is true - she just wouldn't have the wild time with Jason that she would with Jesse. She's going for the exciting, puppy dog love with Jesse, not the comfortable, nurturing love of Jason.
And props to whichever of you said that it takes more than love to make a relationship work. To quote the great Don Henley, "There's a danger in loving somebody too much, and it's sad when you know it's your heart you can't trust, there's a reason why people don't stay where they are, baby sometimes love just ain't enough."

I don't understand this line of thinking. Shouldn't that be a consideration that Jason should be more concerned about than DeAnna? He decided to go on the show. He decided to be away from his son for a couple of weeks.

I don't get it either. Do divorced dads not deserve to have a woman in their life? The way some people talk they make it sound as if Jason should give up on the idea of romantic love just because he has a son. He should be looking out for his own interests, too.

To me, it's more that she was SO concerned about leading Jeremy on...when she obviously did that to Jason too. I definitely think it was his choice to be on the show, but Deanna's concerns seemed to only pertain to things that had happened to her in the past (with the infamous Brad leading her on, etc.) and not so much to anything else.
Wait, in response to the post above....I never said anything about Jason not being allowed to find love, etc. I think it's fine he went on the show, but she should have realized that she was hurting him as well as his child by keeping him there when she already knew she was going to pick Jesse. My point is: Why so much concern for Jeremy's feelings and (seemingly) less for Jason's?
