Mascot/Symbol Gifts

Okay, so I'm a little bored and decided to surf the Walmart jewelry selection....surprisingly, they had several diamond accent pendants/necklaces that would work as symbol gifts for sisters. Among the selection:
--several hearts
--a "flower" (their description) that looked like a stylized rose
--skull and crossbones (several orgs have them on their pins)
--butterfly
--anchor with the word "hope"
--fleur-de-lis

I think these are cute, especially if your sorority colors are ones that you already really like. I don't see a Sigma themed one, but the concept is adorable. I particularly like the ADPi, Phi Mu, and ZTA ones.

They also carry a style, only at Dillards, that are smaller and the canisters are about $24-35, plus they have butter dishes, oil/vinegar, cream/sugar, plates and such with the the metal holders. The colors are Tuscan-style colors of red, yellow and green and cream. I've been watching since they opened a couple of months ago and haven't put them on sale so I'm biting the bullet in prep for our new house.

The leather goods come in blues that would work for KKG, ADPi,AXiD and a red/pink that would work for Phi Mu, ASA and Chi O, and a beautiful double brown that is perfect for my Gamma Phi sisters! They have pens in fabulous colours, too - what they call "red" includes some pink,so all you pink ladies give 'em a look. These would make great senior or initiation gifts - especially if you engrave them.

Yes, and I'm embarrassed to say that I don't know the difference between a waxing and waning moon. Is waxing ) or is it ( ?

It depends on whether it's gibbous or crecent. I believe that GPhiB uses the Waxing Crecent, which is ). Full explination here.
