This might've been a hit right after the movie, but now all I can think is that they're going to butcher a milestone from my childhood. Some things are timeless and can always be re-made (like Disney movies that become series). I think the hang-up is that 10 Things is a culturally specific interpretation of The Taming of the Shrew (which pretty much everyone knew when it came out). If ABC was going to remake that work specific to 2009 it might be okay. But to recreate an interpretation is what'll throw it under the bus--too much copying IMO.

Thank you! I thought the movie pretty much sucked. You really can't turn a crappy movie into a good TV show. They should just let it be and move on to something else.

And I agree. The movie was just OK. I don't really know how they can stretch this out into a series, either (and, after 10 years, who cares to see it?).

I wish Tara had won the Biggest Loser last night. I also wish the finale hadn't lasted THREE FRICKIN HOURS. That's crazy. I tuned in at the beginning to see whether Ron or Mike was selected for the final three, then I turned the TV back on at 10:30 to see who won. It really is amazing to see the before/after shots of those people!

I was annoyed that SVU was preempted for it.

To me, it's a break up song, not a death song. I can see a really powerful break up video in my head. ugh.

This is why I don't watch it anymore, it gets more and more ridiculous as time goes on. Now Kristin is going to "magically" reappear in LC's life? Riiight.

She is gonna REPLACE LC? Seriously. I lol'ed at the comment about her catching the bouquet at Speidi's wedding.....I guess they aren't going anywhere.

I'm torn.

We will get to see the final 3 episodes.

But it will be so painful to see them, knowing that it is the last of that brilliant series. No, we need more reality shows.

Well at least Kristin right from the start is calling it a show and not a reality series. So I guess in the spirit of daytime soaps:

"The role of main girl LC will now be played by Kristin Cavalleri." Will be heard at the beginning of the new season.

Are Survivor and Desperate Housewives really having their season finale on the same night (this Sunday)? That's crazy. Looks like I'll be watching DH only once it's online.
