" The report concludes by saying Cruise will buy Holmes a house nearby so she can visit their child whenever she wants and that the stars will have joint custody."

Why isn't this worded so HE can visit their child?

"...Cruise monitoring the fetus' progress on his own sonogram machine to the chagrin of OB/GYNs everywhere"

These people scare me.

Absolutely nothing - if the man's not a psychotic couch-jumping, publicity seeking, Scientology freak.

I don't see anything wrong with a biological FATHER having primary custody, if he's considered capable of raising a child in a healthy atmosphere.

In this case, I would question if this child is indeed Tom Cruise's biological child, and I hardly call him psychologically stable. IMHO, of course.

Cruise-Holmes breakup report 'false'
Magazine claims two are going to part

LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Not true.

That was Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' response Tuesday to a Valentine's Day report by Life & Style magazine claiming that the Hollywood superstar and his pregnant paramour have split up.

"It should be known that the story is 100 percent false," Arnold Robinson, a publicist for the couple, said in a statement. "Mr. Cruise and Ms. Holmes are still engaged and are moving forward with their wedding plans, as well as planning for the arrival of their child."

The February 27 issue of the magazine, which will be on newsstands Friday, says in a cover story that the public pair "plan to keep up the charade of their romance until after their baby's birth this spring."

Holmes, 27, and Cruise, 43, have been engaged since June. They announced her pregnancy in October.

"Despite the malicious fallacies put forth by Life & Style magazine, the couple is looking forward to a long and happy life together as a family," Robinson said.

A representative for the magazine said, "We stand 100 percent behind our story."

The story says its information comes from two unnamed friends of Cruise.

I'm still going with the two unnamed friends as opposed to Mr. Cruise's publicist.

Nothing unless he is Tom Cruise.

Katie, by the time the baby's born, they'll be too old for him.

Amazing, you can evaluate someone's fitness as a parent by their behavior in an appearance on Oprah?

Plus, I don't think the Olsen twins are D-list enough for him. I mean they're still in the tabloids and they're still appearing in fashion magazines. I don't think I've seen that girl from Felicity in awhile. Maybe, he should date her next. Pluck her out of obscurity and back into the limelight.

Oh, sorry, my mistake. I thought I'd seen him around in a few other places besides Oprah. That must have been someone else in those movies, TV interviews, and magazines. And I'm sure now that wasn't him proclaiming his weirdo religion in Dianetics. And Britney's a wonderful mom too, we can't judge her fitness as a parent by one pic of her driving with her baby on her lap.
