I am going to follow up again tomorrow with the lady I've been working with and see if there are any new developments...as always, you guys will be the first to know!!

Girls, give me a call and I'll help out with the bamboo shoots
Seriously, Lake, were dying here. Please let us know soon.
So girlies guessing, are we on kind of a concensus (did I spell that right?) that the house is either Tri-Delt or ADPi? Or were there any more "major" guesses?
Of course I want it to be ADPi, but at this point....
I WANNA KNOW!!!!!!!!!

Hooray Lake! Now tell us who it is!
I still think Tri Delt, but will be happily surprised with ADPi.

I am so glad I waited to make this announcement today, after I had followed up again and had a firm initiation date set.
On May 8th, 2005 - after more than a decade of love and admiration for this group, I will finally, officially become a sister in...
Can you believe it's time to find out???
Are you sure you want the guessing to end?
Well....OK....if you insist...here it is!!
DELTA DELTA DELTA
ANSWERS TO THE CLUES:
First Clue: I mentioned earlier that I'm only aware of one other AI mentioned for this group so far in this forum.
There is only one other Tri Delta listed in the AI roll call.
Second Clue: It's sort of ironic that I found out I'll be able to pledge my lifelong loyalty to this house on or around St. Patrick's Day.
Tri Delta’s new member pin is green (I was worried this one would be a dead giveaway!)
Clue #3: Their badge is NOT a specific symbol, such as an anchor or a key.
The badge is a crescent moon with three stars.
Clue #4: My new group has three Greek letters in its name, not two
Delta Delta Delta
Clue #5: This organization was founded in the 19th century.
November 27, 1888 (Thanksgiving Eve)
FINAL CLUE: The identity of my new home has been correctly guessed during the course of this thread.
Delta Delta Delta (although I myself started to wonder if it was Alpha Delta Pi!!
SECOND FINAL CLUE: The land, the sea, the sky.
Tri Delta has symbols that can be found on land (pine tree and pansy), in the sea (the dolphin, Poseidon and his Trident), and in the sky (stars and crescent moon)
And finally...
ODE TO TRI DELTA
On the land, on the sea, in the sky,
wherever I am
I am a Delta Tri
Come on guys…I practically handed it to you with this clue!! The last line specifically says “I am a Delta Tri”.

I knew it! (The part about you getting the new member CD-ROM was what tipped it -- I know Tri Delta does that; I'm not sure if other groups do.)
Welcome to the family!

My reasons for my choice:
First Clue: I mentioned earlier that I'm only aware of one other AI mentioned for this group so far in this forum.
this one had me stumped a bit, I was thinking about the old AI thread and not the current one..yep this is only one
Second Clue: It's sort of ironic that I found out I'll be able to pledge my lifelong loyalty to this house on or around St. Patrick's Day. -- But I didn't get the new member pin
I believe she meant the city, at first I was thinking unversity colors, but I had the wrong university
Clue #3: Their badge is NOT a specific symbol, such as an anchor or a key.
This one threw me off a bit also, but if you look closely...there are TWO symbols...heh
Clue #4: My new group has three Greek letters in its name, not two
Yep.....triple letter
Clue #5: This organization was founded in the 19th century.
yeppers....1888
so if you haven't guessed, what my guess it....it is

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!
DDD
Hey....you threw me off the trail...but that is ok....I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU...WOO HOO
