The show was a bit rough on the folks who got booted. I have to say I was surprised that Janay didn't get booted. I hated that Melinda's performance on Tuesday,so that didn't surprise me...but Janay SUCKED. Oh well...such is...my favs are still in. But I have to say that I am not on that Vonzell train....I mean, she's just like LaToya and Tamara Gray and Trenyce. It's more of the same to me.

For the boys...didn't surprise me with Jared, but I was stunned about Judd...he got a vote from me.

I think tonight was much better than last week, for the most part. I was unimpressed by Constantine's vocals, but his performance was energetic. I also didn't think Anthony Federov was that great, but the judges were kissing his butt, and that long note he held will get him votes... people eat up that stuff. And I am not on the Scott Savol or David Brown train, so it won't bother me if either of them go home.

Mario and Anwar for me.

I wasn't feeling Anwar until today, when I stopped being annoyed by his voice.

I'm gonna agree... Bo kicks ass! Constantine, it's time for you to go. You can't sing, and you look creepy when you give the camera those seductive stares... but you do a GREAT impression of a cat being totured!

Hold the phone! American Idol has been invaded by screaming banshees!!!!!

Oh wait... it was just Constantine. (Errr... ConstantSquawk?) Yeah that did NOTHING for me.

Clay 2.5/Anthony - Ok I no longer see the Clay comparisons being valid, minus the fact that he's a clean cut white guy with a backstory. But Clay never sang cheese-ball late 80s ballads, unless they were a requirement of the theme night.

And I laughed during his performance. I couldn't get the image of Hal Sparks singing that same song during one of the "I Love the 80s/90s" shows. Those of you who are fans will remember what I am talking about.

Low points: I think David may be going home. I'm not seeing it. Or hearing it for that matter. Travis, while a nifty dancer, doesn't have that fab of a voice IMO. Joe... better than last week but... disposible. So two of those three will probably go. I won't throw Clay 2.5 in there yet just because of the judges' pimping.

Scott in a pink shirt? Need I say more?

I liked Bo in the beginning, and then my employment help called me during the performance. So I caught the beginning and the end. HE is the real deal and SHOULDN'T be on this show, but on a record label with Pearl Jam et al. I hope that's what is in store for him cuz he rocks and I would hate to see 19E do something horrible to him. (Like sing disco.)

Mario, Anwar... good as usual.

Nikko, I missed last week. He's a cutie. But I'm waiting for him to WOW me. He's a good singer, but I thought the same thing about Charles from Season 2. And I like his glasses. (He doesn't look like Bobby Brown though...)

Did I miss anyone?

If he were to win or even make it far, wouldn't that essentially preclude him from being a rock star? He's losing major "street cred" so to speak

I can't stand Constantine. I personally thought he sounded horrible and no better than someone in a karoake bar but the judges are pimping him for some reason. Bo rocks. He did a great performance. I think he'll make it to the final 12 but as soon as they get into Motown night, he's done. He's a rock-n-roll guy and that's it.

The Good: Nikko, Bo, Anwar, Scott, Mario
The Bad: Anthony (I'm just not a fan), Joseph, Travis (awful vocals but great stage presence)
The Ugly: Constantine, David

Right now my favorite guy is Bo. I really wanna see him sing something that Chris Cornell sings. I would love to hear his version of Outshined or perhaps Hunger Strike.

THIS would be AWESOME! But I doubt Soundgarden/Temple songs are game for AI. Seems like they can only afford Stevie Wonder songs this year. (Not that there is anything wrong with Stevie... just when everyone sings his songs... it gets old.)

I liked Joe (I think that's his name)...he sang 3rd. MUCH better than last week. I liked Nikko and Bo too. Wasn't as wowed by Mario this week. I can only hope Constantine hits the bricks along with David I think his name is (black guy, dreads, not Anwar).
