Very good point! If anyone has never had the opportunity to live within a different culture (especially in a different country), it's something to be experienced! Although I lived in England for four months (a mild cultural difference in comparison to others I could've experienced), the opportunities afforded to me by placing myself in a different country has made me look at some of these "gross" tasks in a completely different light - not to say that I still won't think it's gross and what not, but I can understand the context it's coming from better.

American or not, eating your own puke is disgusting -- unless you're a cat or a dog. I understand showing tasks that may be difficult for people from different cultures to experience, but c'mon - that was just NASTY and uncalled for.

I agree that THAT part did not need to be kept in, but I guess it "added to the drama" and the "do anything to win" drive these racers have

That was not a specific part of the task, that was his choice...of course i can imagine behind the scenes they asked if they could have another bowl, I bet someone said, sure a full one or finish the one that you have now.

Exactly. While it was beyond gross and perhaps should have been left out, the task was not "eat your own puke," it was "eat the soup." I don't know if he asked for another bowl or not, but frankly, I was rather impressed at the way he just went ahead without complaining (at least so far as we saw).

So, I FINALLY got to watch Tuesday's episode and I thought it was pretty good. The swimming part cracked me up!! And I will miss Lori and Bolo--they were a good team.
Still loving me some Kris and Jon. Yes, I know they are sweet but sometimes the nice guys/girls need to finish FIRST!!

Notice, though, that the pitstop is a hotel that appears to cater to Westerners. Still I think it will be harder in Shanghai than elsewhere to beg money.

Very true, but it can be fun to watch Rebecca put him in his nancy-boy place.

Ain't nothing wrong with being a nancy-boy. I love how Freddy, with his dew rag and poncho, said that. I can't stand him and KKKendra. And I just wanna punch Hayden in the face. "Aaron, ah ah I can't do it". Shut up already!! Ugh. I'll be so pissed if either of those teams come in 1st.

I think Kris and Jon have a good shot at winning. They're the best team overall IMO.

Agreed. I like Adam and Rebecca way better than KKKendra (LOVE that!) and Hayden, the most annoying person in the entire world. "Oh baby Aaron where are you baby oh help me I'm scared oh baby baby Aaron help me!"

Amazing Race
9 pm/ET, CBS
After four continents, 24 cities and more than 40,000 miles (and tons of screaming matches from its prickly cast), the sixth edition of the Emmy-winning race crowns its $1 million first-place team. The remaining four pairs start off tonight in Shanghai before eventually landing back in the U.S. to cross the finish line.
