Soror, look within our field. They will be all around you. Just attend your next bar association networking event. They will be all around you. Watch out for the gov't ones. They don't have any money. LOL.
Yes, I said it!

I love aquamarine and have a good deal of this stone in necklaces and earrings - but I don't think I'd want it as part of my engagement ring b/c I'd want it to be more timeless. It's pretty, though. I wouldn't have thought it was an engagement ring...and I'm surprised that it's 11K given that the bulk of it is aquamarine and each diamond doesn't look to be more than about .1 or .2 carats. Maybe the ring base is platinum or titanium.... Even then. Heck, maybe you're just paying the Tiffany tax.

Diamond Engagement Anniversary Three Stone Ring 2 Carat (ctw) Emerald Cut in 18K White Gold (SI) (Certified)
One high quality (SI) emerald cut diamond gleams in this magnificent piece, while two smaller emerald cut diamonds help further propel this dazzling ring into glittering heaven. Six radiant princess cut diamonds are littered along the band for a total diamond weight of 2.0 carats (ctw) all laid into 18 karat pure white gold.

And it's only $3,995! (myjewelrybox.com)

I would SWOON if I received this ring!! It is, by far, my favorite.

I have been thinking lately that I would want something smaller, if the day ever came, because I am pretty active and I would want to feel comfortable wearing my engagement ring all the time.

This is the ring for me. It's beautiful and classy. I love how the wedding band wraps around the engagement ring...

I really don't have too much of a preference as long as it's something that he put a lot of thought into. The only thing that I do want is for it to be either white gold or platinum. I HATE yellow gold. I've always loved the rings that had an antique look to them, but I really can care less.
Amen to that! My boyfriend and I just had this discussion. I want whatever he get's me white/ yellow gold, platinum, a rubber band...well not a rubberband b/c my dad will knock him upside his head hehehe.

I usually don't like those rings with "trim stones" (I don't know what you call them - the little ones around the large one), but that ring is BEAUTIFUL.

I'm not sure what that type of stone is call. I happened to see an ad for BN with that ring in it so, I went to the site. THat particular ring, they call it Cirque but I don't know if that's a general term for stones with surrounding stones. Ill look around and see if I find anything.
