Cool TECHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

ALRIGHT!!

The 1st half went by soooo fast and the 2nd half seemed to go by soo slow!! I figured it would come down to the final seconds. Almost all of the games had so far.

Something that was a little nerve-racking....the Tech radio station was about a second faster than tv so I knew what Tech did before I saw it.

What an unreal game. My boys from UConn pulled it out.

The game was horribly officiated; both sides got royally screwed quite a few times, they called it awfully tight for such an important game. I'm a big fan of just letting the players play, but that's just my opinion.

Okafor was outstanding in the second half, and Boone really had a great game. I'm hoping they can avenge the loss to Georgia Tech and win it on Monday.

Also, kinda off topic...Jim Calhoun is a finalist for the Hall of Fame, with the new class announced on Monday. This is a guy who built two programs into NCAA tournament teams, Northeastern and UConn. UConn has moved into one of the top five or ten programs in the country, and Northeastern was damn good when he coached there. The wins, the programs; he really deserves to get in. What a Monday that would be if he was inducted and they won it all.

For now though...bring on GT.

I am so annoyed. I'm annoyed at UConn making so many points frigging unstopped. Okafor was good but I felt as if Duke really let it go.

Now that I'm crying Duke blue... its all about the ACC

GO GT!!

It was a good game though, and I've been a Duke fan for years and didn't think they would make it this far.
I do feel bad for Chris Duhon as the lone senior on the team... and making that last shot!

The ACC the best thing since sliced bread.

I agree!

Now for the fun part -- watching UConn win on Monday.

The hell you say! Them's fighting words!

(You know it's a big deal when I'm rooting for the North Avenue Trade School!)

My two sisters up above THINK Uconn and Duke are superior when we know OSU still will always be greatest!

There was definitely some questionable shot selection down the stretch; Ewing took a couple of head-scratchers towards the end. Not what you'd expect from a Duke team.

Go Huskies; I'm hoping they get back at GT for the NIT loss earlier in the year.

Now Cutie... you know I'm the LAST person who would think Duke is superior.

Let's talk about Tech/Conn. I wouldn't have thought Tech would win against OK State and would have put OK State above Conn. I think they played a bit goofy and made some mistakes that I would never have thought they'd make this late into the brackets. I really would be so happy if Tech wins though.

UConn will win, although GT has done better than I thought they would and I didn't think they'd beat OSU. I'm interested to see an Okafor/Schenscher matchup -- that should be interesting, even though that Schenscher guy annoys me to no end.
