1. College or University
The University of North Alabama

2. ADPi Chapter
ZH

3. Collegian or Alumnae
Alumnae graduated 2003

4. ADPi and Panhelleic positions held
open rush chair, social chair, pledge class president, homecoming chair < collegian
I just became the Adpi Recruitment Advisor for ZH Adpi and I was the secretary of the Huntsville, Madison County ADPi Alumnae

5. Why you joined ADPi
When I walked in the door at rush everyone knew who I was because a great friend of mine was already an ADPi and had told them all about me. In other words I felt at home in the Adpi room the first minute I walked in.

6. Favorite ADPi memory
I lived in the ADPi dorm, and all of the nights, that all of us sat in the hallway, talking about whatever at the time, made for a great couple of years. I don't remember any one specific time right now but I would tell every sister to tell every other sister that has a chance to live in the dorm or house to not pass up that opportunity. I felt closer to the girls, that I lived in the ADPi Dorm with, then anyone else ever.

I was so excited to see your post.

I pledged Phi Mu the same semester as you at McNeese. I then transferred and graduated from UL. I also married one of the wonderful Delta Xi KA's from Mc Neese last April!

Good luck with everything in Dallas!

Yes I affiliated with Phi Mu at UL. I now work in Greek Affairs as a Graduate Assistant. I have so much fun with it. I get to meet so many people. The system is larger here (5 sororities with total at 73) and this gives me the opportuntiy to meet people since I didn't pledge here and never hung around with the fraternities because of Chris.
Chris is fine, he is in Iraq along with James Wheat, Jack Gunter, Robert Baggett and Matt Mouhot from KSig. They will be home next September. (crossing fingers)

1. Saint Louis University

2. Eta Nu Chapter

3. I just got elected NMC for 2005! (If anyone has any suggestions for me, I'd love to hear them!)

4. I joined ADPi because right when I walked in the room the first night for rush, I felt at home. These girls were honest, genuinely nice, true girls. Every night of rush, I became even more sure that ADPi was where I wanted to be! My roommate thought I was nuts because everynight after we got back from a rush event we would talk about how things went and I just kept saying "I love ADPi, that's the only one I want!"

5. Well, since I am new to ADPi, I don't have a lot of memories yet, but a few of my favorites so far are: Bid Day!, Initiation, Black Diamond Formal, GI ADPi (i think some chapters call this Mallard Ball), Pi Premiere (the first event for all the Alphas)...and I can't wait for many more to come!

3. Collegian
4. For my chapter I have been Leadership Chair and Chaplain. For Panhell I've been Vice President for Jr. Panhell and I am currently VP of Public Relations.
5. I joined ADeePi because I felt like home when I entered the house. Before I went through forma recruitment I had spoken to a couple of girls in the house, without knowing they were in ADeePi, and I felt we were old friends already. I loved the fact that these girls know how to have fun while knowing when to be serious and get to work.
6. My favorite memory...it's rather hard to say. My Alpha Lock In was one of my faves, and Initiation ceremony. Everytime I go through it it reminds me why I'm a member of this sorority!

Pi Love,
Sara

1. University of North Texas

2. Gamma Upsilon!

3. Alumnae

4. Standards & Ethics (Collegiate)
VP of Programming (Alumnae)

5. I went ADPI because it was where I knew I needed to be.
The sisters were awesome and genuine and I felt a part of the organization from day one! I also felt that I was missing something in college from not pledging sooner. I made up for that quickly once I was initiated. I love ADPI!

6. Some of my favorite memories include initiation (of course) - Date Parties - scavenger hunt with KA - and having my diamond sis turn into a lifetime friend! I love ya Kate!

I was recently doing an internet search looking for something else and I stumbled on this site. After checking things out I think it looks like a great place! Not only is it informative, but seems to be alot of fun too.

I looked for a forum to post an intro, but couldn't find anything. Apologies if I didn't look hard enough. So this topic seemed like a pretty logical place to introduce myself.

1. College or University - University of Illinois

2. ADPi Chapter - Sigma

3. Collegian or Alumnae - Alumnae

4. ADPi and Panhelleic positions held - As a collegian nothing much other than various committee work. But as an alum, since moving to Tuscaloosa, AL I've served on House Corp and am now the Chapter Advisor at Eta, University of Alabama. Volunteering started off as a way to meet people after moving to Bama and not knowing a soul. It all just evolved from there.

5. Why you joined ADPi - It just seemed to be the right fit for me.

6. Favorite ADPi memory - Probably the most fun was Pledge Walkout to the University of Iowa. I probably shouldn't give any more details than that because Walkouts aren't allowed any more. But even if they were, we were told that we weren't welcome at Iowa any more because we got a bit too wild.
