It will look nicer in the reception hall than our original choice of aqua and yellow.
I'm loving this.
I want the invitation & the cake for my non-existent wedding! Oh well! I saved it for future reference :-D

I love the navy and pink combination. But what color would the guys wear? I feel like Black tuxs & navy bridesmaid dresses wouldn't look good in pictures.

I think we're considering gray tuxes with navy ties. I can't completely picture it so we're going to have to see how that looks.

My friend did this color combo and it was gorgeous. She chose grey tuxes, with alternating pink and blue vests. The ties were pink and blue striped.

I'm going to scour facebook for a good picture. It was really well done.

I'm seriously considering stopping at a craft store, and discussing silk flowers with someone there. We are too close to be able to pay cash for a condo to wreck this budget!
Honey, I had a wonderful florist. Hubby and I figured out an amount we thought we could spend on flowers, and when I met with the florist, I told him what that was and any ideas I had. He worked it out in a way that met my budget. For example, I wanted hydrangeas - and he told me native ones, while lighter in hue, are cheaper. That was fine by me.

I also wanted white violets (ZTA!) in my bouquet, and was willing for those to be silk as they were hard to find. He actually ended up finding real ones! He also was able to suggest flowers that were similar to ones I liked but less expensive (I didn't realize how much stephanotis was, for one...).

Set yourself a dollar amount and be a little flexible in terms of which types of flowers, and you can still have amazing flowers! I was so happy with mine! :-)

Yup, changed my wedding colors again, lol

This is what we're doing:

Not the dresses but that shade of purple.

This is definitely it because for the first time I'm SUPER excited! I actually have a vision of it, unlike with the failed color combinations of the past. YAY!

I see my dressmaker next week! Please pray that I lose 419# before then, and that we can find the material in the right color - royal or cobalt blue!

LOVE that color.

Yea for your excitement. That was how I knew I had a color combo that worked. I could see the flowers, favors, linens, etc. all in my head in an instant and it just worked.

Thanks!

Yup, that's exactly how I feel. Those color dresses, dark gray tuxes with matching purple ties. Groomsmen wear a white boutonniere and the bridesmaids will carry white flowers. My flowers will be purple which will match my fiance's boutonniere. Pretty purple centerpieces and uplighting! It's all coming together!!!
