Why did you pledge Pi Phi?: There was just something that stood out. There was a sense of unity, yet at the same time a complete sense of individuality between every member. I knew I could be my complete self, yet blend in so well with someone different. Sometimes I get bummed because it has changed so much then. But I take that same feeling I had and try to express it upon new members and potentials hoping it will come back.

Why did you pledge Pi Phi? There is so much about Pi Phi that sticks out here, it's the newest sorority on campus, there is instant leadership, the girls are all so awesome and there is such a variety of activities that everyone is involved in (campus ministries, intramurals, pageants, choir/band, and roadrunners). It has been so awesome to see this chapter develop and to be a part of it!

Current offices: we don't have any yet!

Why did you pledge Pi Phi? I rushed when I started college (Fall '06) and nothing seemed to work out. I had committed to being non-Greek for my college career until Pi Phi started to colonize on our campus. Everything just clicked and now I love being a Pi Phi! We're new...Bid Day was only 2 weeks ago but we've already formed a sisterhood here!

Hey!!! So good seeing another Bulldog on here!!!

Why Pi Phi? I absolutely loved every single girl I met when going through recruitment and could tell they held up to their values

Hi Girls!

Chapter: NY Epsilon (Rensselaer)

Initiated: Fall 08

Status: Active

Positions held: Chapter President (current), VP Housing, Arrowboard Committee Head

Why I chose Pi Phi: I go to a school where the guy to girl ratio is ridiculous, so it just made sense that I would find myself within an organization comprised of women. I wanted a strong support system and that's just what I got : )

Why did you pledge Pi Phi?
In January, one of my friends invited me to coffee with some of her friends. I didn't even know that it was a recruitment event! The next night, I spent 4 hours at the house just hanging out with friends I already knew, and meeting the other girls. At 10 pm, my closest friends in Pi Phi showed up at my door with a bid. I accepted because I really enjoyed the girls I'd met that night, and because of the enthusiasm of the four people standing at my door singing. Seven weeks later, I initiated and couldn't be happier.

Chapter: I'd prefer not to say publicly, since I'm still an undergrad, but any sisters may PM me and I'll likely tell you.

Status: active!

Current offices: homecoming chair, a few committees

Why did you pledge Pi Phi? I went into recruitment having grown up knowing several women who are Pi Phis (though no one in my family is... yet.) so we were on my radar from the beginning. The history, symbols, colors and exceptional group of women in my chapter sealed it. As did the tears I shed during pref.

Why did you pledge Pi Phi? During recruitment I felt like I could be myself in this chapter, and all of the women were laid back and chill.

Why did you pledge Pi Phi?: I pledged Pi Phi because I felt like I could really be myself around these girls and that they would be a strong support system for me and vice versa. I also always wanted to be a part of Greek Life and I'm so glad I did rush. Becoming a Pi Phi has been the best thing that's happened to me so far. (:
