It's just that Kellogg on marketing and also has good connections with management consulting comps like McKinsey. Stanford has more of a connection to business strategy/VC types. Stern would be more helpful to finance with smaller firms in the NYC area.

Either way, unless you apply to Tuck I think you'll be happy wherever you live

I don't feel old either. I take good care of myself and nothing on my body is hurting (sorry for those of you who have started hurting). After graduating from college at first I had noticed the difference from being active on campus (I use to walk to class to save gas) to being not so active and I saw that I had gained a few pounds.

So I started walking my dog and making sure I exercised for about 30 minutes for three times a week. It's not that hard to find a little time to work out. (10 minute workout are good to). I also started eating better (fruits and veggies).

I make sure I wear sunscreen, drink water, laugh daily, and try not to stress. I believe stressing out makes you look older. I try to enjoy life and remember that life is too short to stress and worry. As long as I am taking care of all my responsibilities then I say why not celebrate life.

So for right now getting older is not so bad. It's just another chapter in the book. (Yeah I'm also an optimist which also keeps you younger .)

Don't get me wrong, I am not old. I just feel like I am truly and adult now and that is some scary stuff! When did this happen? Just yesterday I was drinking underage.

.
I feel that exact same way, and I believe, by your post that we are about the same age. When DOES it happen ? I mean just a bit ago it felt like college would never end. On the other hand I want to be a kid again... on the other hand I feel like I'm not ADULT enough, like my apartment still looks like a college kid lives in it, and I still go out all the time and I still make stupid mistakes sometimes.. SUCKS... not quite sure how to deal with this stage of my life at all.

It's all about balance. You need to remember you are an adult. You need to make sure you don't neglect your adult responsibilities. But don't fall into the "I'm too old for that" trap-- you need to enjoy your life and have fun.

No matter what life brings you don't forget who you are, the person that got you where you are today. Don't let that person get locked away in your memories-- let her live --- just balance the two sides of your life.

Wow... Ummm.. I guess I should go hang my head in shame now because I'm still working on the stable self confidence and where exactly I want to go in life.

I date guys between 30-32 so that makes a LITTLE difference- dont get me wrong they are still pretty much boys trapped in a man's body, they just have better taste and more confidence than they used to!

Yep, my oldest sister (she's 36) says that men don't really start growing up until they're 30.

Angry

Man,

In Vegas, I was trying my luck at "Deuces are Wild" and the MoFo's carded me!!!

I'm like, "Dude, I as old or older than YOU are!!!" (good thing I'm old enuf to keep my mouth shut).

Biatch still looked at me like I was 2...

And I didn't even fathom what she was asking me when I put my $5 bill into the machine...

This is at Sunset Station.

Anyhow, good think I had my Cali driver's license, 'cuz when the heifer checked out my age, she was hella pissed... 'Cuz trick looked raggedy--like one too many shifts...

Then my aunt and husband started laughing at me...

I said "It's not funny!!!" I didn't even want to drink, I just wanted to play!!!

Oh yeah, I'm in my late 30's, too. So I know I look good...

The key is to grow up slowly and take one day at a time... Relish the day that you are in and take time to smell the roses...

Introspection of how your life is going is only as good as if you have a plan to do something about it to change it permenantly...

Like, applying, going, attending and graduating grad school...

Like, taking to last minute trips to Amsterdam...

Like helping others with service rather than always lamenting how hard you think you have it... Think about the homeless kids that have no one or no choices...

Then, you realize, you ain't got nuthin' much to complain about...
