The 40 Acres Fest Committee in conjunction with the University of Texas Co-op is pleased to announce another year of the 40 Acres Festival that always takes the Austin and campus community by storm.
The festival will be held on April 2, 2005 beginning at 12:00 noon. Everyone is invited to attend this renowned event which has become one of the many traditions that makes Austin, Texas such a remarkable city.
In its 13th year, the 40 Acres Fest is designed to foster and promote unity on the University of Texas campus and throughout the Austin community. Each year, thousands of individuals including students, faculty, and the general public come together to enjoy a wide array of entertainment including games, rides, and live musical performances. Hundreds of University organizations on campus participate in the event by putting together activities for the many onlookers that flock to the fest each year. In past years, organizations have had a dunking booth, face painting, a Ferris wheel, as well as several contests and games.
