I HAVE ONE TEAM LEFT IN THE FINAL FOUR...I give up.
This tournament has been ridiculous, and I am totally with whoever posted earlier about HOW THE HELL could somebody have gotten all these right so far? I mean WHO IN THE WORLD picks Bucknell over KU? That makes no sense!!!! There are others too that I don't get how/why anyone would have chosen them but seriously I can't imagine how anyone has not gotten at least one thing wrong so far.
Anyway, enough venting.

I've only lost 3 of my elite eight so far. Only.

It's okay, I've lost 4, if it makes you feel better
My Albuquerque bracket is done - can't score anymore points there. Hopefully the rest of my picks will pan out, but I'm not holding my breath, considering how insane this year's tournament has been.

Definitely...and it would have been perfect if UConn had pulled it together and beaten NC State. Unfortunately can't say I'm surprised; they underachieved all year, and this was just the crowning moment of that.
At least your boys beat BC though...that makes me feel a bit better.

I was in SECOND at one point?!?!?!
I didn't check anything over the weekend so I never even got to bask in my picks!
Unfortunately, I've gone down 45,000+ places in the whole yahoo group. I think I'm 11th for GC? Oh well!
On a good note, only 1 of my final four teams is out, but there are still plenty of games before then...

I know my brackets look a flaming hot mess. I found on-line brackets for the women's tourney over at espn. I'm doing a lot better over there. Only 7 wrong after the first round

Whoa. I'm in Florida this week. I just checked in and saw that I am first right now. Who knew?
Go Duke.

I've been hanging with Mich. State fans recently sooo...that's about all I know of who I would like to see stay in it for a while, cause the MSU fans here are fun! But I have a random semi-educated guess Duke will beat them. Luckily tho I'll be out of town this weekend so I'll miss the drama.
A good friend of mine was tops in his pool to win a hellova lotta money until GTech lost...poor baby

Hopefully this isn't the beginning of the UConn exodus. Losing Villanueva would be a sizable loss, but if everyone else stays they'll still have a very good starting five next year. If Ed Nelson plays like he did in the tournament, he'll at least partially make up for the loss.

careful - I think state has a good chance to roll Duke out.
MSU has much better depth, and if Paul Davis can do even a semi-decent job on Sheldon Williams, then the JJ had better shoot about 9 for 12 from 3. Duke's looked tired, gotten into serious foul trouble, and hasn't been stopping ANYONE on D.
You heard it here first.

is it me or does it seem like there is a lot more time between games this year? I cant remember there being close to a week between games. The way I remember it being, is half the teams played on one day, and the other half on the next, until there was only 1 team left.

Nope, it's been like this as long as I can remember. 32 and 16 games the first weekend, 8 and 4 games the second, and then 1 game on Monday night the following week. They used to have a 'consolation' game for 3rd and 4th place, but stopped playing that in 1981.

My first Final Four team got knocked out. I took a long shot with Texas Tech. Meh.
