LOL. I think from the movie, that is an understatement. LOL

BTW, that movie "spooked" me.

But to me they should be distinctive. And these girls were just blah. No look, no personality stood out to me.

IMO, Cat girl was distinctive. LOL Maybe when they had done the makeover, she wouldn't look so much like a cat. I guess it was her "attitude" that allowed her not to make the cut.

I heard Tyra on 106 & Park, and she said they've been renewed for 2 more seasons of AMTM. I bet that one will be ALL plus size.

That would be interesting. If it does happen, she needs to use people like Emme and Kate Dillon as judges, not Janice Dickinson.

That would be great but for real get rid of Janice as a judge THAT SEASON. And Jayne the Blonde Headed Mongrel.

These are some UNCUTE guhls this season. It's gonna be so lackluster. I suppose the top model for this cycle will end up like the first two....

I agree that I thought that Cat looked distinctive. Maybe it's just me but I think that a number of the girls look distinctive. I think that the African-American girl with the big red afro has a distinctive looking face (when you move all of that hair out of the way). I also think that the girl from another country (the brunette) and the girl from Arizona? with the long blond hair look distinctive.

I that the fact that Cat woman does not really have a versatile number of looks is what killed her chances. The Black guy mentioned that it was only so much that they could do with her. But she definitely had a distinctive look.

How come I was crying on Top Model *and* Road to Stardom last week. Jessica had me bawling. She was on the radio today in Chicago singing the song "Why me" that she sang during the last part of Road to Stardom.

Re: No plus model this cycle?

Soror, there was one plus sized model (she mentioned that she was the only one). She was one of the African-American finalists (but she didn't make the second cut). When she started crying saying that she was heartbroken, I was too through. I was crying up a storm.

While I felt for the woman who got tossed out with her child, I agree with the Black guy that she shouldn't have made the cut. I think that her face was a little too slender and straight down to really be a model. But what do I know?

Although Cat woman had an attitude, I saw so what? Lots of models have attitude. I think that as models go, she should have made it b/c she was one of the few that had a distinctive model-like look (she looks like a cat for goodness sake!) and I could see her in a magazine.

I like the look of the girl with the red fro but I do think that Tiffany from Florida is a little plain. I agree that they may have kept her in for drama value. But I'm glad that she made it. I can't deny that I screamed when she made it. I couldn't believe it.

My Aunt used to do some modeling years ago and she knows the infamous "Ms Jay" Alexander personally. Believe me, he is in no way shape or form trying to be "masculine". Besides I think it's obvious since he calls HIMSELF Ms. Jay. Anyway, Jay is the man! (for lack of a better term) He has taught many many models how to walk. There are not too many in the industry that have not passed through him.

Ok, I have been confused about this since Tyra was calling him Ms. Jay last week (it was my first ATM show). Why does he call himself a "Ms.?" I recognize his femininity but what is that all about? Somebody, please help a sister understand. What's the point?
