I have fond memories of college --mostly, the people I met, but I still would not want to do it over again. It was fun while it lasted. I can still remember the last semester of my senior year when I just wanted to be done with college finally. No thanks!

I definitely miss college. Since my 2nd semester Freshman year at University of Maryland I tried to charter a chapter of Pi Delta Psi. The process took 3 years and it finally happend Fall 2004. I've been out of college for 2 years now. When I go back to visit it makes me miss college a lot because I never had the chance to experience "greek life" in the traditional sense. At least now I know a chapter has been established at my former school and I'll always have people to visit.

I miss it like crazy! I'm a second year med student now, and this university doesn't have a Sig Kap chapter. I made it back to my alma mater to help with recruitment this year, but even that was sad, because it's the last time for at least six years that I'll be able to do it. Okay, this is depressing me...

I just graduated in December and have a great job, but I miss KSU alot.
It's not so much that I miss doing schoolwork or going to class. I miss my chapter. It's so weird, but I used to always complain about going to chapter on Sunday nights, but now I find myself wanting to be there.
I miss going to lunch everyday with my Little, living in the house and going to Ladies' Night on Tuesdays, and lots of other things.

I'm right there with you... It's been a year this past May, and I'd give almost anything to be back there. I've learned a hell of a lot since being in the "real world" but I still hate it.

OMG I miss it so much. I graduated May 20th of this year and I'm just...so sad its kinda sick. Sometimes I really sit and think "I'm not going back in September...no more recruitment, no more late night chill sessions with sisters, no more Greek Week..." and I get so sad it hurts I hope it gets better...I just kinda push it to the back of my mind but I know in September its gonna be hard.

lately, yes, very much so. I just wish the sisters that I love the most were down the block like they used to be instead of hours away.

Lately, I have been wanting to go back to college very badly. It's funny, because I never thought I would feel this way since it took me 7 years to get my Bachelor's. Part of me wishes that I could back in time and start over at a different college. The one I went to (Jacksonville University) was kind of a forced decision because of a situation that I was experiencing. I wish I could be a high school senior and reapply to a bunch of colleges (instead of just 2) in different states. It is hard to explain, but I am just not all that happy about how I have spent the last 7 years of college. I just have to move on. Although, now I want to go to grad school because I feel like there is more that I could be doing.

Omigosh, I'm so glad I found this thread. I just graduated in May and my chapter just had Bid Day yesterday and I miss it SO much. It's SO weird not to be there and be a part of it, after having invested so much time in it all of those years. I'm so glad to hear they're doing well and I know I'm and "adult in the real world" now, but it's just SO hard.
