I think it's really hard for anyone to offer advice here without knowing the whole story, which it's understandable that you can't really share with us. It's one thing if you're having a hard time getting along with your professors, but it's another entirely if they're treating you like crap because they don't agree with your political views, which you should be free to express when they're relevant. I can see what adpiucf is saying, but I can't say that I agree with the idea that you should spend all of your time figuring out how to best resolve your situation in the interests of furthering your career. Everybody needs to have fun and pursue other things that interest them, whether it's directly related to your ultimate career goals or not.

Anyway, I don't see anything wrong with joining a sorority at this point if you are offered membership. You may end up transferring and there's no guarantee that you'd be able to affiliate with the chapter on your new campus, if there even is one -- but membership is for life, so even if you can't continue to be involved at the collegiate level, that's certainly not the end of the road for you. As long as you give all you can to the organization while you're there, that's all anyone can really ask of you.
