I really liked learning more about Locke.

Next week's episode sounds more interesting.

I think Jack is losing it. What is his problem with Locke? It was an accident when the plane fell and guy died. It wasn't like Locke killed him.

last night episode irked me a bit and I was almost ready to stop watching it...but I also got intridgued by some of the things the guy in the film was saying....its a psychological test that was only supposed to occur for under two years, I think the film was dated 1980?

I decided to give it another chance when I saw that Daniel Dae Kim (Jin) was speaking in his regular voice, man does that guy have a bedroom voice and I fell in love with it, when he did a stint on Angel.

Also as someone mentioned Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Adebisi) seems to be making an appearance on the show...he's kinda sexy.

I also knew that was a set up in the pit..but what do you do?

Ok, so I don't read all of the speculation forums for the show or anything, and I missed almost all of season one, so bear with me.

Re-cap on the radio this morning said something about an idea that the "others" are infected with something somehow, and that is the reason for the quarantine of the hatch... They also said something about Anna Lucia might be infected too now, and that is why she is with the "others". I'm a bit lost.... Has anyone else heard this stuff?

Also, since she was in the rear of the plane and survived, is this maybe foreshadowing a reveal that there may soon be more people from the back of the plane showing up that survived?

KDAngel great work! I can't believe you could do all that on the computer. He does say, "don't touch the button, the button's bad" the guys at televisionwithoutpity didn't even know what he was saying. btw check there for hilarious recaps on the show

from television w/o pity. recap of what happened last night

So the hatch is a "communo-research compound," the Dharma Initiative, the brainchild of B.F. Skinner devotees from the University of Michigan (Wolverines suck!) for studying meteorology, psychology, parapsychology, zoology (polar bears fighting!) and, um, how a man can survive when his only entertainment is Mama Cass records and old Apple II games ("GO W: You cannot go that way. SCREW THIS: I don't know how to screw"). But like drug deals in action movies, things went wrong. This hatch is Station 3, to study the island's unique electromagnetic properties. The nice scientician on the orientation film says there was an "incident" but doesn't say what it was, just explains that when the alarm sounds, the code must be entered into the computer.
Locke's all, cool! Sign me up! But Jack thinks it's all garbage, and when a stray bullet from Desmond's gun breaks the computer, Desmond takes off running, leaving the Lostaways to figure out what to do. Sayid and Hurley are brought back to the hatch, Sayid to fix the computer and Hurley hopefully not so they can set up "fat guy eats all the food in the pantry" plotlines, or "everyone thinks fat guy ate all the food in the pantry but really he didn't and everybody learns a valuable lesson" plotlines. Jack and Locke have an annoying fight about faith, with Locke insisting Jack push the button, and Jack refusing until the last moment, like that proves anything.

Michael, Jin, and Sawyer are thrown in a pit by a huge guy whose name is probably not Adebisi. Michael tries everything: "Hey!" and "Where's my boy!" and "Em City represent!" Nothing works. Girlfighter Michelle Rodriguez gets thrown in with them to gain their trust, which they do, since she's another survivor, but turns out she's helping the Adebisians.

In the flashbacks, Locke follows eight simple rules for boinking Peg Bundy, and stalks his kidney-stealing asshole of a father. It ends badly. But Locke flashbacks generally rule, and these are reliably good, but hey. You guys had me with the comb-over.

Of course you knew these sites were going to pop up sooner or later.

This is the weird symbol found everywhere. It keeps saying access denied. My best guess is that your IP has to match the numbers i.e. 4 8 15 16 23 42

Dharma Industries Website

This is the site for the guy that created the project. I gotta watch that video again b/c it was just weird.

Boone...you're back?

Last night, a chapter sister spotted Ian Somerhalder working out at 24 Hour Fitness near her home. She began wondering if he's still filming scenes for the show. I mean, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't still be here if he wasn't still on the show somehow.

Boone as a ghost. SWEET.
