Yes -- I think it was that Desmond dude. But seriously, WTF?

I like this show so much because I can't figure it out -- very cool for a TV show.

You are right about this! Because you watch it, get frustrated because you can't figure it out, but then you HAVE to keep watching it week after week to TRY and figure it out! Smart.

I figured out it was Desmond, when he was running up and down the stadium stairs. Something about the long hair, and his speed (remember he was injecting something into himself the beginning of the episode?).

me and my roommates kept saying "brother" with the desmond accent all night. we are easily amused.

I bet you this Desmond character is going to meet all the survivors before they get on the plane.

I too, watched LOST and while I enjoyed it, I have to say that the whole flashbacks thing is getting rather annoying.

The sighting of Walt was very creepy and horror movie'esque.

Desmond made me think of that creepy TWIN PEAKS character, Bob (or whatever his name was...the creepy mountain man evil spirit with bad teeth and long dirty hair).

Yeah, the fact that he is hatch guy makes him a little bit creepy... But in that stadium scene I thought he was kinda cute... That accent is just hot.

Did anyone catch what Walt was trying to say? I couldn't hear him.

I can't wait for next week now. I really hope they continue what happened in the hatch. I'm afraid they'll start showing the other half of the plane instead.

All I could hear was the whispering around Walt. I could not understand what he was trying to say other than Shhhh

I don't know how the hell Jack and Desmond didn't eat shit when running up and down the stadium stairs. Aloha Stadium's stairs are so gat-damn steep, I don't know how many times I've fallen on my ass there.

All the airport flashback scenes aren't filmed at an actual airport -- but at the Convention Center.

And the "hatch" and "cave" scenes? Their soundstage is at the former Xerox building 10 minutes away from my house -- where 7 Xerox employees were gunned down in 1998. The cast and crew have reported weird things going on during filming. Can you imagine filming suspenseful scenes and having to deal with ghosts? Must be creepy!

YOU KNOW YOUR A LOSTAHOLIC WHEN...

everytime you hear 'dude' you think of hurly

You tape every episode of lost, just so you can re wind and find details you missed before.

You stay up late to tape or watch an interview on the late night shows with a member of the cast

you know the first names of several people on this board.

You go searching for a certain Yellow Labrador even though you don't own one.

you spend $40 + on DVDs, of a tv show..youve already seen AND TAPED!

If you need numbers for a password, you use some or all of the following
4815162342

You talk to your friends who don't watch lost about all the characters and latest plot twists.

you stayed AWAY from the boards lastnight untill the episode was over, and were saying 'omg omg omg' everytime something happend to a friend who didn't even know what lost was

Youve gotten at least one person you know addicted to it.

You sit on the edge of your seat during the twists
you also hold your mouth as to not scream

You found yourself in tears more then once last season.

you have played ..or thought about playing the NUMBERS in the lottery.

you talk to random people on the boards more that you talk to your family

everybody that you meet whose name is ethan, you demand what he did to claire

someone asks who your favorite band is and you say driveshaft, even tho its not a real band

you schedule your week by when lost is on, or one of the lostaways is on a talk show, and you HAVE to have your mandatory 3hrs on the boards

You watch the show with a notepad and pen to "take note" of any developments/clues you might want to discuss here afterwards...

you make a fire with black smoke, and wait next to it with a baby, just to see if charlie comes

you dream about lost, sing "you all everybody" in the shower, eat bananas with "extra creamy peanut butter"

you only drink out of cut open water bottles

you go shopping and see an item of cloths(lets say a bucket hat) and go oh Claire (or__) has that!!!

you name a new pet after a character or person on the show.

you analyze every detail thinking even the smallest thing could have the biggest significance

youve developed a small obsessionw ith peanutbutter since the show.

You introduce your wife as "This is my wife Shannon" when her real name is Tammy.
You don't answer the phone , no matter who's calling (your mom, your friends, your boss..yikes) when watching the show..

You ask everyone you know.."Do you watch Lost??"

You're thinking of naming one of your kids, or all of them (LOL) after one of the characters on the island

You find yourself coming up with new theories for the show's mysteries while in a big meeting with your boss and associates..

You make love to your husband/bf and say "oh yes, sawyer".

You're hoping next time you go to the hospital, you'll meet Jack..

Tonight's episode was good. It was kinda nice to see more about the hatch and the raft.

I would like to see more of Charlie though.

What did y'all think?

I wasn't paying strict attention (bad polarpi ) but it kinda made me frustrated to see the buildup of everything from last week "replayed" with a mix in of stuff from the raft group. I'm also a little disappointed based on how it was "previewed" last week, and it didn't really live up to the previews, but I'm hopeful for next week!

(But my opinion may not count all that much...)

I thought it was good but I got really tired of seeing everyone go down the hatch again, even though this gave us more details. MOVE ON already!!

Where in the hell is Walt?

Also, I was bothered by the whole giving up parental rights thing. I don't know family law, but I suspect it was INCREDIBLY inaccurate and it drove me nuts.

Does anyone know the artist and title of the song that Desmond played at the beginning of the episode?

It went something like"play your own kind of music, play your own kind of song"
