Cool Musical memories!

Does anyone else have a certain album/CD that every time you hear it, it reminds you of a great time in your life?

For me, it would be "Songs From the Big Chair" by Tears for Fears. The first time I heard the album the whole way through was freshman orientation, and it seemed to be playing everywhere my freshman year. It still makes me feel 18 when I hear it .

So, what's yours??

That's a simple question. That CD would be "Crash" by the Dave Matthews Band. This is the album (well actually track 8) that made me fall helplessly in love with the band. This album also help me get thur a really rough time in my life. When I moved from Michigan back to Louisiana, I almost freaked out because I thought I had left it behind. The copy that I have is scrached now and starting to skip, but I can't bring myself to replace it.

ANYTHING by Prince (when he was Prince the first time--before that Artist junk) but especially the Purple Rain soundtrack! I know I'm dating myself, but that was the summer after senior year in HS and freshman year in College. SO much fun!!!!

I totally know what you mean by "Crash" I LOVE that CD. I haven't listened to it for a while, you just inspired me to go home and load it up.

One song that gets me from college is "Paradise by the Dashboard Lights" by Meatloaf . . . oh what fun times! We used to bring down the house singing that song and stomping our feet. What great memories. It's been around for a while, but we STILL tore it up.

From my 'ahem' younger days--who else? Michael Jackson's 'Thriller'. I wore that tape out.

the song "crash" by DMB, "everything you want" by vertical horizon...both of those are memories of ocean drive, this club i frequented this summer.

my sisters and i share the songs "tootsie roll", "waiting for tonight" and "who let the dogs out"...i smile just thinking about them...

Oh god, When I hear anything off of Dr. Dre's Chronic it bring me back. Also Sophie B. Hawkins "Damn, I wish I was your lover." One of my dorm mates use to play that song continuously.
