Well he is equal opportunity when it comes to not showing up.
Well it seems that Bush does not only give less than a damn about Blacks but Latinos as well as he also snub the largest Latino organization's invitation to address the Latino community Go Bush.

Are you listening to NPR too?
I just heard that this afternoon that he hasn't addressed the National Council of La Raza during any of his presidency either.

Now Honeykiss1974 you know I can't disclose my sources.
Yeah I heard that on NPR, now let's keep that on the DL before Ms. Lovespell finds out and shut them down.

Well Clinton had more blacks in productive roles in his cabinet(do your research), Bush has two token parrots that repeat and defend every silly and asinine policy Bush has pushed down their throats. The Democrats did block Bush's attempt to place a token Latino into the fold which is a good thing. Your constant drivel about abortion is getting olded hat.....how surprised would you be if you found out that one of your beloved President's daughters had an abortion? That stat is flawed are you sure it cost $750 for an abortion...you might want to research that, also I do love my as you said peeps that's why a change is in order w/ so many blacks facing job loss and cuts in educational funding we can't have (4) more years of Bush.

Let me get this straight 13 million abortions costed 4 billion dollars and the aveage cost of these abortions went up to $308 yet you stated the aveage cost is $750............Your private crusade against abortions have made you mad as in insane, I know your stance on abortions but you can't just makeup all kinds of crazy stats to help prove your point. Let me ask you a question if your so pro life why would you vote for a guy like Bush who advocates keeping automatic assault rifles legal.

AXEAM,
What position are you taking? Are you saying that you don't believe the abortion stats? or are you disagreeing with the cost or the fact that 43% of all black children are aborted? Why does Iconoclastics "private crusade" as you call it against the murder of a life that only God created make him insane?
Just trying to understand where you coming from.
If you think his stats are crazy, visit http://www.saveus.org/docs/factsheetsindex.html and look at the fact sheets. Those facts are crazier than anything anybody could ever make up.

I believe all those so called stats are slanted, just think about those behind that web site have an agenda that they're pushing.
I also believe that Icon does to, I'm not supporting abortions b/c it is murder but I believe that sometimes it can be neccesary in cases of rape, sexual abuse of a minor child and other cases. I also believe that murder is murder be it abortion or an unjust war.

No ma'am I don't disagree w/ stats that I may personally be @ odds with b/c I don't like them, but those above stats are filled w/bias. Also Iconoclastic's mindset is so warped that this person considers Thurgood Marshall to be a crony which speaks volumes.

AXEAM,
Some "neutral" sites that contain stats that mirror those on saveus.org can be found on the CDC's website (although the CDC does admit that its method of tracking abortions is flawed) or the US Dept. of Health and the Census Bureau. The stats regarding the black community are fairly interesting. It is hard to believe, but once I dug deeper, it was a wake up call that we (meaning you and me) have got to do something.
No longer can we wait on a collective "group", "party", or organization to do it. Maybe that's how we (our community) got in this situation in the first place....waiting on someone else to do something.
Regarding the cost of abortions.....
My church has an active anti-abortion ministry because in our city, there is a clinic here that performs all types of abortions (from early pregnancy all the way up to late term). Depending upon WHEN you get one, the price does range from about $400 (early pregancy) to $800-$1,000 (for later term or partial birth abortions). Just thought I'd throw that out there.

When I say these stats are slanted I mean that most stats dealing w/ Black America are pooled from the worst lowest subjects then projected to look worst then they actually are. Follow me on this one if you were to pick only the worst rotten apples off of a tree then (x) that amount by a ratio of all the apples on that tree your findings would be flawed. When studies are done on Black Americans the working class, middle and upperclass are often exclued, by using using the lower socio-economic group the results will not represent all of Black America but will cast the whole of Black America under a somewhat negative light.

Bush's speech before the Urban League reminded me of an old James Brown song entitled"TALKING LOUD BUT SAYING NOTHING."

That's a good one.... but the song that the American people will sing to Bush is an old song by the Who entitled "WE WON'T GET FOOLED AGAIN"
