Wow I hope the movie is better than the trailer because the trailer totally screams cliche.
It looks like Romeo and Juliet the first half and then Pearl Harbor the second half...

I have no investment in this movie and I make no money off of my endorsement. All that aside, I loved this movie and everyone should go to see it

I'm wondering if it would be better to drag the BF to see it with me or just go with the girls?

So I convinced the BF to go with me last night to see this movie. I thought it was great and of course cried a ton. He said he didn't cry but he thought it was a good movie. When we were walking out we were all laughing and joking because you could hear that so many people had been crying. I definitely recommend this one!

I went and saw it last night with my mom. We definitlely got teary eyed and loved the movie (it was soo romantic)! While a majority of the theatre was females, the male population was definitley represented...mostly boyfriends/husbands is what it seemed like. GO SEE IT NOW IF YOU HAVEN'T YET!

Talk about "bring your tissues!!"
As everyone was walking out of the theater, all the woman were crying...even the GUYS! All you could hear is sniffles.
I loved the movie, but it was sorta on the corny side. But, I did dry. A LOT.
My favorite part was when they were breaking up and the girl was like "I hate you! I never want to see you again! Wait, were not really breaking up right!!?? It was hilarious

haha, I loved that too. And also how they'd be in a fight or she'd be hitting him and then 10 seconds later they were making out...ah, so in love! It was great

I finally saw this movie last night. I've wanted to see it since it came out last summer but never got around to it. I rented it for my boyfriend and me last night.
I was SOBBING. I might get a little misty eyed during movies but I was crying my eyes out during this movie. The only other movie that I actually sobbed during was Titanic. I loved this movie!

I saw this movie yesterday and I was BAWLING at the end. Indeed a great story. The dude who played young Noah was pretty hot.

BEST. MOVIE. EVER. When it came out, I went to Walmart right at midnight and bought it, and ran into 5 of my sisters doing the same thing. Even boys really like it, that's the best part.
This thread makes me want to go watch it now.

I tried to rent it this weekend. I grabbed a DVD from behind one of the Notebook covers, checked out, got home and had I <heart> Huckabee's, which was an odd but entertaining film, but not The Notebook that I'd hoped to see!
