He wouldn't say anything about the wedding. He just said he wanted to keep his private life "private". He only wanted to talk about his new cd. I read he did the same thing on the Today show this morning.

I've seen pictures from the wedding on TV and online. How did the press know about it??

I think she married him so quick because of the attention. Before Marc, she had not made the cover of US magazine in a while.
I think its shoddy he would not say yes we got married. He is a pig who cheated on his wife and then had a shot gun wedding with another. His first wife is prettier than her anyday
They are both supposed to be Catholic, divorce and remarriage is a no no (unless he or she both have an annulment)

Cris Judd gave her an annulment, but I remember a while back there were reports that she tried to get her first husband to sign something stating that they had an annulment, not a divorce, (so she could marry Ben in a Catholic ceremony) but Ohani (sp?) wouldn't do it because she had him fired from a job involving her restaurant.
MA obviously didn't get an annulment.

I remember this, and I was almost in tears because it was so sweet how he started tearing up when her saw her walk into the church. I was so  when I found out that they were separating. I'm  @ J-Ho...I think she just needs to be alone for awhile.

I think it is ironic how Ben Affleck was trying to defend this woman's virtue during and interview he gave when they were together. He was talking about how she had ONLY had 4-5 boyfriends in her whole life. I wonder how he feels now? I know he must be kissing Matt Damon's feet for strongly discouraging him NOT to marry this chick.
I think she is one sick puppy. And why do all of her boyfriends feel the need to lavish her family members with expensive gifts? What is up with her moms anyway? How in the hell you gonna let your daughter carry sh*# like that and not pull her card at some point? If she was my daughter, I would not have come to that wedding. I know Blood is thicker than water, but my moms would have definately drawn the line in the sand if I would have tried to pull a stunt like that. :

This is funny, but sad and true. Blood is thicker than water, but it ain't as thick as ca$h, and I'm sure J.Lo is hooking her moms (who was pretty well-off to begin with) up.

What I don't get is how she managed to get her marriage to Cris Judd annulled? An annulment is for couples who DO NOT consummate (sp) their marriage. After 9 months of marriage, one would believe that they had sex.

What's weird is I remembering reading the exact opposite. I read that the first time J. Lo. met Ben's mom she spent thousands of dollars on "gifts" for his mother. (Can we say trying to buy mom off, I don't think his mom was probably too impressed though). Then didn't she buy Ben a brand new car? I'm pretty sure he returned the favor by buying her a car also.
Ben should seriously be THANKING Matt Damon. Matt was smart enough to see throught the whole "charade" and tell Ben "don't marry her".
Another thing that seems stupid is the whole "is she pregnant or not thing". I remember watching the Barbara Walters interview that she had with Ben and Jennifer. Barbara had asked her about the concurrent pregnancy rumors that were floating around with them. Jen said something along the lines that she is a "devout" Catholic and that she "had to be married before she got pregnant". From the way she was talking her family (who is also devout Catholic) would "kill her" if she got pregnant before marriage. Obviously if these pregnancy rumors are true she is a big fat liar or (and I hate to say this) slut.

Agreed.
Strangely enough, there is the possibility that the two of them are in love and have been for a number of years. I'm not holding my breath on that possibility.
