Rose, Thorn and Buds

Rose: I found out today that one of my sisters (the President, a pledge sister of mine, and my closest [other than my lil] sister) is going to move into my apartment with me for about 2 weeks starting next Saturday. WooHooo!! No more creepy lonely apartment!

Thorn: I broke my toes yesterday.. so that sucks

Bud: Only 9 days left until I move back to PSU! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

roses: my best friend bought a guinea pig for her classroom and i get to keep it until her school starts....her parents won't let it in their house and she still lives at home....it is really kinda cute! I also got my hair cut/colored today and it looks awesome!

bud: its almost friday! I think i am going to my parents house for the weekend. Also the Band of Oz plays friday on the lawn!

thorn: (1) school started today...as you can tell from my post in other areas I have a hard time where I teach. (2) the ex is being a complete dick...might as well throw 4 years that HE wanted to work out down the drain...I am losing faith in long distant relationships or relationships in general. (3) even though I have been out of school for almost 4 years now, I still get homesick every once in a while and want to go to my parents...hope I can manage it this weekend. (4) I registared to complete my national boards today and now I am really scared about it.
only 179 days left in the school year and 26 more years until retirement!

sorry for all the thorns...its been a rough day!!!!!

rose: I hung out with my big sis on Monday! Yay And lately there's been more DZs in the labs, which always cheers me up.
bud: kind of looking forward to school starting and all my friends coming back
thorn: my older sister and my best friend graduated in the spring, it's going to weird without those 2 girls. I'm taking a heavy courseload which means I'll be stressed out...grr

Rose: My roomate (best friend) moves into our new apartment on Monday!!
Thorn: I just had to shell out WAY TOO MUCH money for my parking permit.
Bud: I just bought plane tickets for my friend's wedding in Septemnber in New Jersey!!

Rose:I had a wonderful weekend with my boyfriend and I have some really cute pics from the wedding!
Thorn: its Monday...great weekends never last long enough. I really do not feel like being at work today. Also, the 2nd guinea pig died over the weekend
Bud: I am going to go to my parents this weekend and help my little brother move back to college. 2 more weeks 'til labor day!

Rose: My best friend/roomate moved in today!!!
thorn: I already have a wicked case of "Senioritis" *dun dun dun*
Bud: I'm going to New Jersey in a few weeks for a wedding.. I'm wicked excited!!

Rose: My new roomates are all moved in.. they seem awesome
Thorn: Classes start on Wednesday.. I'm not excited.
Bud: Only a week and a half until New Jersey, and 2 and a half weeks until I get to see my BF again!

Rose~ My best friend, a DZ from NC State, just delivered a baby girl!!! She is still out, so it hasn't been named yet. Its their first child and they did not know what they were having. I'm soooo excited!

Thorn~ Its Tuesday and it seems like Monday. Outside is sooo dreay looking...I wanna go home!

Bud~ I get to go to the beach this weekend!!!

Rose- I made a lot of money this weekend after picking up a second part-time job at a catering company.. We did a Wedding on Saturday.. it was SO pretty!!

Thorn- Today is going to be a LONG day.. I've beena t work since 8am... then tonight I get to work until 11pm

Bud- This weekend I am going to Philly and New Jersey for a really good friend from high school's wedding

I know...I am sooo excitied. I am going out this evening and shopping for her! My cell phone is in my pocket, waiting to hear what the name is! She called me around 11 and said that she would name it after she saw it. Can you imagine, 9 months of preg. and having no idea what you are going to name it....thats Steph for ya! I could give her a few suggestions off my baby-name list! Anyone seen any cute turtle baby stuff?

I work part-time at a catering business also. GREAT money! I try to work every Friday afternoon. Working there/eating there has been part of my "i want to lose weight" problem!

I know Carter's (the baby line) has some cute summer clothes that have turtles on them right now.. and Macy's has a whole bunch. One of my chapter sisters had a baby girl in January.. let me tell you about all the turtle things she got at the baby shower from all of us..hahaha.. that baby BETTER be a DZ (Just kidding!!!)

Rose- My class from Haides was cancelled today...woooohoooooo!!!

Thorn- I am extremely tired.. and WICKED stressed.. I've had something like 3-4 anixety attacks since 10pm lastnight

Bud- My BF will be here, finally, after 3 months of waiting, a week from tomorrow!!

PS- Our First open house is tomorrow... we have 35 (of the 46 I said earlier) said YES to attending tomorrow, the other 10 or 11 are eithe runable b/c of classes, or unsure if they will be attending. Keep your fingers crossed for LOTS of interest.. we're down in the teens for numbers.. so we need a big pledge class!

Rose- My weekend in NJ/Philly was AWESOME.

Thorn- I have been sleeping much lately.. so I've been SUPER cranky

Glad you had a wonderful weekend! Weddings are always fun! How long is your boyfriend staying up there?

Rose~ I had the most WONDERFUL weekend! Nothing better than spending it with the one you love

Thorn~ I am broke and it is only the middle of the month! My alternator went bad in my car Thurs. and it took $200 to fix it. My car is only 4 years old and I have had the most problems with it

Bud~ It's Tuesday...that is one day closer to Friday! We also have a work day on Friday, so no kids! There is also a big football game at NC State this weekend. Hopefully tailgating will be much safer this weekend.

It was SUCH a fun wedding too!!!

He's staying until Monday. The only bummer is I have a TON of stuff to do this weekend.. I have a meeting with our RCC... I have to go get fitted for bridesmaids dresses.. and a lot of homework. Oh well.. all I care about is seeing my boy!

We have another open house tomorrow.. I'll let you know how it goes!!
