Hello!
Well we just recently had our CMN event called Grandslam..
Grandslam is a large softball tournament where we raise money for CMN..
All the fraternitys on campus pay 75 dollars to play in the tournament, this year we had 8 teams.. we had 3 fields and they played softball all day until it eventually was narrowed down to 2 teams.. the winner of the last game got a trophy
The first pitch is thrown by our miracle child.. and all day people can donate money and buy food and drinks that all goes to the philantrophy!
well thats one idea.. im a fairly new sister and one of the older sisters was telling me about jail house rock..
what you do is u have a corner of a student center where there is alot of student traffic cornered off to look like a mini jail.. inside there is chairs and games and things to keep you busy.. the way you get money is you pay to "throw" someone in jail.. say a dollar??
and then the person can't get out until soemone else pays to get you out.. im not sure how this would work at a larger university.. but at my school it is fairly small and the WHOLE greek population knows each other.. we have 10 fraternitys and 6 sororitys.. not to mention we are also a commuter school. but it is a cute idea
